God's Help and the Enchanting Executioner

Justice: Foundation of both the State and Humanity

'My Lord! "Allah'ım.
Grant us justice, balance, integrity and free us from oppression. Adalet, itidal, istikamet (lütfet) O sayede, bizi cevir ve zulümden müstağnî kıl.
This is what we ask for from You' Sen'den istediğimiz, odur."
Unity of God means to see the Divine Essence in the framework of Divine Uniqueness, Unity in Divine Attributes and Names and to become a servant and connect to Him through the heart. Tevhîd, "Allah'ı birlemek" demektir; Ehadiyyet-i Zâtiye, Vâhidiyyet-i Sıfâtiyye ve Esmâiyye çerçevesinde, Zât-ı Ulûhiyeti bilmek, O'na karşı kulluk tavrı almak ve O'nun ile irtibat tesis etmek, gönül vasıtasıyla.
The Unity of God cannot be reduced to merely saying 'There is no deity but God'. Allah'ı birleme, sadece "La ilahe illallah" demek suretiyle birleme değildir.
Every behaviour and attitude should link back to the Unity of God, it should be felt.
You can attribute 'sincerity' to the Unity of God. "İhlas"ı, ona ircâ edebilirsiniz.
You can attribute 'constant awareness of the presence of Him' to the Unity of God. "İhsan"ı, ona ircâ edebilirsiniz.
You can attribute 'the Love of God' to the Unity. "Muhabbet"i, ona ircâ edebilirsiniz.
You can attribute 'knowing God by one's conscience or heart' to the Unity. "Marifet"i, ona ircâ edebilirsiniz.
You can attribute 'Truthfulness' to the Unity of God. "Sadâkat"i, ona ircâ edebilirsiniz.
You can attribute 'steadfastness' to the Unity of God. "İstikâmet"i, ona ircâ edebilirsiniz.
You can even attribute terms that are mainly used by Sufis such as 'Reliance on God', 'Submission to God', 'Assurance in God' and 'Confidence in God' to the Unity of God. Daha ziyade sofiler tarafından kullanılan "Tevekkül"ü, "Teslim"i, "Tefvîz"i, ve "Sika"yı ona ircâ edebilirsiniz.
You can even attribute the elevation of a pure and satisfied heart to the stages of purity and contentment as a Divine Blessing to the Oneness and Unity of God.
Therefore the Unity of God is not limited to saying the words, 'There is no deity but God'. Yani, mücerred {1>"La ilahe illallah" <1}demekle değil.
Those words are just a prerequisite for you to claim to be a Muslim, like a white banner that shows that you are a Muslim to everybody else.
When they see you and your banner they will leave you, because the banner means submission. Onu, sizde gördükleri zaman, size ilişmezler, "Teslim" demektir o.
You can evaluate the event that took place with the Pride of Humanity and the Noble Usama in this regard, when the Prophet questioned Usama about whether he had physically checked to see the enemy's heart was truly not in faith before killing him. İnsanlığın İftihar Tablosu'nun (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) Hazreti Üsâme'ye, "Yarıp kalbine mi baktın" buyurduğu andaki mübarek mülahazalarını bu istikâmette değerlendirebilirsiniz.
Thus as Imam al-Ghazali says, it is important that the heart verifies what the tongue confesses, a heart constantly sensing God directly, beating to this rhythm. Onun için Hazreti Gazzâlî'nin de ifade ettiği gibi "tasdîk-i kalb" önemlidir; sürekli Latife-i Rabbâniye'nin ve kalbin O'nun ile çarpması, O'nun ile atması, esasen.
And if the heart is in this state of reverence, then it will be felt in the attitude and the actions of that person.
This is, essentially, what our Prophet said: Efendimiz öyle demiş zaten:
'If there is reverence in the heart, it will manifest in your attitude and behaviour.' "Kalbinde haşyet olsa, tavır ve davranışlarında da o görülür."
From the iris of your eye to your facial expressions and the movement of your limbs. Gözlerinin irisine kadar, yüzünün mimiklerine kadar, el-ayak hareketlerine kadar.
From standing in serious reverence and being girded ready for worship, feeling this while expressing your servanthood, bowing carefully and on reaching the prostration declaring: Namazda el-pençe divan durmaya kadar, kemerbeste-i ubudiyet ile arz-ı ubudiyette bulunmaya kadar, rükûa giderken temkin ile eğilmeye kadar, secdeye kapanırken "Ohh be.
Oh my, how pleasant it is to bow in front of Him' O'nun karşısında eğilmek, ne latifmiş" demeye kadar.
In every act, the Oneness and Unity of God is vital; everything must be tied to that. Her tavır ve davranışta tevhîd önemli; tamamen her şey ona bağlanmalı.
Of course, these are positive things, a negative aspect also exists.
Maintaining sincerity and not allowing ostentation to affect one. İşin içine "riya" katmama.
Being far away from wanting to be praised. "Süm'a" katmama.
Being far from self-pride which can also be called inner admiration. "İç beğeni" diyebileceğimiz "ucub" katmama.
Being far from self-conceit. Dışa karşı taşma diyebileceğimiz "fahir" katmama.
Being far from arrogance, assuming that you're superior than others. Başkalarına tepeden bakma, kendini büyük görme diyebileceğimiz "kibir" katmama.
That superiority is a matter exclusive to God alone. O büyüklük, Allah'a mahsus bir hususiyettir.
Regarding this, God forbid!, when you consider yourself a partner to Him you exit the circle of Unity and become one who associates partners with God.
In Prophetic tradition narrated by His Messenger, God says: Cenâb-ı Hak, bir kudsî hadis-i şerifte (şöyle) buyuruyor:
'Pride is My cloak and greatness is My robe. "Kibriya, Benim ridâm; azamet ise, Benim izârımdır.
Whosoever competes with me or tries to share these with me, I place him into Hellfire. Kim Benimle bu mevzuda yarışa kalkışır ve bunları paylaşmaya yeltenirse, onu Cehennem'e atarım." "İzârım.
He says, 'My Cloak and My Robe' and then: Ridâm" diyor, sonunda da (şöyle)buyuruyor:
'I will seize and dispatch those who try to share these with me into Hell.' "Bunlarda Benim ile -bir yönüyle- ortaklaşmaya kalkanları, Ben de derdest eder, Cehennem'e postalarım."
And these are the things that must be abandoned for the sake of attaining a true understanding of the Unity of God.
One of the main aims of the Qur'an is establishing Prophethood; that is receiving Divine Revelation from God and calling others to the truth. Vahiy yoluyla haber almak, Allah'ın emriyle vazifeli olarak insanları doğru yola çağırmak demek olan "Nübüvvet" de Kur'an'ın ana maksatlarından biridir.
This can also be called the Divine Message, although there is a minor distinction. Buna -nüansı mahfuz- "Risalet" de diyebilirsiniz.
This is bringing news from behind a veil, according to Imam Rabbani; bringing a message from beyond transcendent realms. Bu "min verâ-i hicâb" (bir perdenin ardından) haber alıp getirmektir; İmam Rabbânî hazretlerinin ifadesiyle, ötelerden, ötelerin ötesinden, ötelerin ötesinden; verâlardan, verâların verâsından, verâların verâsından mesajlar getirmektir.
If the Prophet did not come with these messages, you would never have been able to have a good grasp of either 'the Divine Essence', nor the matter of His 'Works' and 'Actions', nor the names attributed to His Glory, nor the various points concerning 'the Divine Essence'.
Hence, with the news given to you by him, you become aware in some way of the things referred to. Dolayısıyla O'nun verdiği haberler sayesinde siz, bir yönüyle, şöyle-böyle o denen şeylere muttali oluyorsunuz.
From this perspective, the matter is defined as 'Prophethood'.
The 'Divine Message' presents messages for the purpose of showing what should or should not be done in servitude to God, in the name of worship and obedience. "Risâlet", ibadet u taat adına, ubudiyetiniz adına yapmanız gerekli olan şeyler veya sakınmanız gerekli olan şeyler adına mesajlar sunuyor.
'Prophethood' brings news from behind the veils; warning of truths unreachable by human intelligence, thought, or comprehension. "Nübüvvet", min verâ-i hicap haber getiriyor, insanları insan idraki ile, insan düşüncesi ile, insan muhakemesi ile ulaşamayacağı hakikatlere uyarıyor.
This is where the vanity of philosophy parts ways with the message of religion, Bediüzzaman emphasizes this.
Thus when we say 'Prophethood' we should consider it in this manner: Dolayısıyla "Nübüvvet" derken de meseleye öyle bakmak lazım:
'Whatever the world has is a gift from him, "Dünya neye sahipse, O'nun vergisidir hep
Society is indebted to him as is the individual. Medyûn O'na cem'iyyeti, medyûn O'na ferdi.
All humanity is indebted to that innocent, Medyûndur o Masum'a bütün bir beşeriyet
O Lord, resurrect us Day of Judgment making this declaration.
Essentially, he requires indebtedness; because if it weren't for him, we would know neither the 'Actions', nor 'Works', nor 'His Names', nor 'His Attributes', nor the matter of the Divine Essence that tells us to stop, to prevent us from going too far and engaging in confusing matters. Esas, o medyuniyeti gerektiriyor; çünkü O olmasaydı, biz ne "Ef'âl"den anlardık, ne "Âsâr"dan anlardık, ne "Esmâ"dan anlardık, ne "Sıfât"tan anlardık, ne bize "Dur" denilen "Zât-ı Baht" mevzuundan anlar, kafa karıştırıcı şeylere girmekten sakınırdık.
We would know neither of Paradise, its mansions, palaces, streams, nor its beautiful servants. Ne Cennet'ten anlardık, ne onun köşkünden, villasından, sarayından, ırmaklarından, Huri'sinden, Gılman'ından anlardık.
We would not know that faith within the heart carries a seed of the Touba tree in Paradise, nor know that Hell keeps hidden a Zaqqum seed. Ne kalbde imanın bir tûbâ-i Cennet çekirdeği taşıdığını anlardık, ne Cehennem'in bir zakkum tohumunu sakladığını anlardık.
Indeed, we are indebted to him, peace and blessings be upon him, for teaching us all of these, with their positives and negatives. Evet, pozitifiyle negatifiyle bütün bunları bilmede/öğrenmede hep O'na (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) medyûnuz.
Thus, when we say 'Prophethood', this is how we should feel in our indebtedness. "Nübüvvet" derken de esasen medyûniyetimizi öyle duymamız lazım.
In a way, we need to know him well. Bir yönüyle O'nu tam tanımamız lazım.
Knowing Him by attaining the 'knowledge' about him leads to loving him. "Marifet" diyeceğimiz O'nu tanıma neticesinde, O'nu sevmemiz lazım.
Loving the Divine Essence is essential and it's placed on our shoulders as a duty and responsibility.
'Instigate the love of God in His servants' hearts so that He will love you'. "Allah'ı, kullarına sevdirin ki, O da sizi sevsin."
We can also modify this statement and say: 'Instigate the love of Prophet in his communities' (those who came after the Prophet but did not respond to his call as well as those who responded to his call) hearts so that He will love you'. Biraz değiştirelim bu ifadeyi, "Allah Rasûlü'nü (ümmet-i davet ve ümmet-i icâbet, bütün) ümmetine sevdirin ki, Rasûlullah da sizi sevsin." "Siz, Rasûlullah'ı, insanlığa, bütün insanlara sevdirin ki, Rasûlullah'ın nezd-i nübüvvetinde siz de sevgiye mazhar olasınız" denebilir.
In this respect, when we talk about Prophethood, we need to understand it within its own depth.
We should not merely utter the words, 'Muhammad is the Messenger of God' with our tongue and lips only. Öyle dile-dudağa emanet edilmiş bir "Muhammedu'r-Resulullah" demekle yetinmemek lazım.
The heart is asleep in this respect, unaware of what the tongue says. Kalb, uykuda o mevzuda, haberi yok.
The spiritual intellect, conscience and feelings are all asleep, they too are unaware. Latife-i Rabbâniye, Vicdan, His ve Şuur uykuda, onların da haberleri yok bundan.
When this matter is entrusted to the tongue and lips only, it only seems like one is raising a white banner. Dile-dudağa emanet olan o şey, sadece zâhiren işte beyaz bayrak çekme demektir o mevzuda.
And saying: 'I surrender to God's will' in order to be saved from facing the consequences of your actions and thinking that you will be left untroubled for being a believer, a Muslim. Sana yapılacak muameleden âzâde kalmak için "Teslim" falan diyorsun; "Teslim" deyince, sana ilişilmiyor o zaman; "Haa, sen de mü'min imişsin. Sen de müslim imişsin" deniyor.
This should be taken into consideration in regards to both the Divine Essence and the Prophethood.
Just as 'the Oneness and Unity of God' and 'Prophethood', are of the main objectives of the Qur'an, so is 'the Resurrection' (the Great Gathering in the Day of Judgment). "Tevhîd" ve "Nübüvvet" ile beraber Kur'ân'ın ana unsurlarından ve maksatlarından olan bir diğer esas (kıyametten sonra bütün ölülerin bir yere toplanmaları, Allah'ın, ölüleri diriltip mahşere çıkarması demek olan) "haşir"dir.
Bediüzzaman says that one third of the Qur'an is about resurrection. Hazreti Pîr'in ifadesiyle, Kur'an'ın üçte biri haşirden bahsediyor.
The Qur'an refers to resurrection in various chapters through various methods: direct indication, making a reference to it, referring to its necessity and significance. Delâletin değişik türleri ile; yani, "dâll bi'l-ibâre" ile, "dâll bi'l-işaret" ile, "dâll bi'l-iktiza" ile, "dâll bi'l-iltizam" ile, "dâll bi'd-delâlet" ile, değişik yerlerde hep ondan bahislerde bulunuyor.
In some instances, it is mentioned openly. Bazen açıktan açığa öldükten sonra dirilmeden bahsediyor.
For instance, 'Your creation and your resurrection are but as (the creation and resurrection) of a single soul.
Surely God is the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing' (Luqman, 31:28). Allah, her şeyi hakkıyla işitendir, her şeyi hakkıyla görendir" (Lokman, 31:28) diyor.
It expresses the unlimited power of God; and that everything, including Divine acts, is simple for Him.
That is, things that seem difficult to you are quite simple for Him; for 'difficulty' is not a question for Him. Yani, size zor gibi görünen şeyler, O'na gayet kolaydır; zira O'nun için "zorluk" sözü söz konusu değildir.
When he wills a thing to be, He says 'Be!', and it is.
'When He wills a thing to be, He but says to it "Be!" and (in the selfsame instant,) it is' (Ya-Sin, 36:82). "O bir şeyi murad buyurduğu zaman O'nun yaptığı iş, sadece ona "Ol" demekten ibarettir, o şey de hemen oluverir" (Yâ-Sîn, 36:82).
Yes, you can accept the conjunction in this verse as causality, but it has more of a cause and effect type meaning; so 'it happens just after'.
That is why our predecessors said 'Be! And it is!', in literature, phrases such as 'the machinery of "Be! And it is!"' or 'the factory of "Be! And it is!"' has been used frequently.
'Be! And it is!'; He says 'Be!' and it is, even the causes to make something also appear. "Kün fe-kân"; O, "Ol" dedi ve hemen olacak şeyler de (mümkinât da) oluverdi.
Yes, the topic related to resurrection is quite eminent. Evet, "Haşir" meselesi çok önemlidir.
In a way, bringing order and regularity to our lives is related to it. Bir yönüyle, hayatı zapturapt altına alma, bir nizam haline getirme ona bağlıdır.
Issues such as; being resurrected, the judgement for your actions and so either living in eternal happiness or may God Almighty forbid being subjected to eternal hell if responsibilities are not completed are emphasised in the Qur'an, and so Bediüzzaman sees resurrection as the third primary truth mentioned in the Qur'an. Öldükten sonra dirilme, hayatın hesabını verme, öbür tarafta ebedî mutluluk yaşama veya hafizanallahu teâlâ, burada sorumluluklar yapılmadığı zaman ötede ebedî hızlâna maruz kalma gibi şeyler söz konusu olması itibarıyla, haşir üzerinde ısrarla duruluyor ki, Hazreti Üstad üçüncü esas olarak ondan bahsediyor orada.
Imam al-Ghazali divides the major issues into three; Bediüzzaman adds 'justice' to this three.
In one place it says 'worship', that is the commands of the Qur'an and the authentic Tradition. Esasen bir yerde "ibâdet" diyor; yani, o Kitâb'ın âmir bulunduğu şeyler, Sünnet-i Sahiha'nın âmir bulunduğu şeyler.
In regards to the foundational disciplines of religion there is; worship and servanthood to which the Sufis added 'devotion'. Dinin temel disiplinleri açısından "İbadet", "Ubudiyet" ve sofilerin ilave ettikleri "Ubûdet".
It seems that to be a mortal servant of God, to separate from everything other than God, to attain the horizon of self-annihilation, of finding one's self in God, to complete the duty of servanthood towards God in such a manner, is called devotion. Herhalde, Allah'a kullukta tamamen fani olma, kendi hesabına bütün bütün mâsivâdan sıyrılma, bir yönüyle "fenâ fillah, bekâ billah-maallah" ufkunu ihraz etme şeklinde Cenâb-ı Hakk'a karşı vazife-i ubudiyeti yapmaya "ubûdet" demişler.
This is a matter of Sufism; this isn't the ideal place to discuss it.
Hence, even when referring to justice, Bediüzzaman does not neglect to mention worship. Dolayısıyla, Hazreti Üstad, "ibadet" de diyor, "adalet" dediği yerde bile.
Justice, in one form, is to remain on the Straight Path. Adalet; bir yönüyle hep sırât-ı müstakîmde yol alma.
  "Allah'ım.
May You guide us to the Straight Path.' Bizi, sırat-ı müstakîme hidayet eyle."
That is, guard us from all forms of excessiveness and apathy. Yani; her türlü ifrattan, her türlü tefritten muhafaza buyur.
Whatever the true path is, to remain on it. Dosdoğru yol ne ise, o.
This is the right path in regards to belief. Bu, inanç adına dosdoğru yol.
The right path in serving You. Sana kulluk yapma adına dosdoğru yol.
The right path to understand your Messenger. Peygamberini tanıma adına dosdoğru yol.
The right path to building a sound understanding of death and resurrection. Haşr ü neşr mevzuunda müstakîm bir düşünceye sahip olma adına dosdoğru yol.
Justice is to say and live these things.
But in the meantime, there is also a different place for justice between people.
In fact, it is said that 'justice is the main pillar of property.' Nitekim "Adalet, mülkün temelidir" denmiş.
'If there is no justice in the minds of a people, "Olmazsa bir milletin efrâdı beyninde adalet
The dignity of a state will fall down to the earth from the heavens.' İner zemine (veya düşer zemine) arşa çıkan pâye-i devlet."
Ziya Pasha at one time stated: Ziya Paşa, belli bir dönemde demiş:
'If there is no justice in the minds of a people, "Olmazsa bir milletin efrâdı beyninde adalet
The dignity of a state will fall down to the earth from the heavens.' Geçer zemine bir gün, arşa çıkan pâye-i devlet."
The heavenly dignity of a state... Arşa çıkmış ise pâye-i devlet.
Many states became heavenly. Nice devletler, semâvîleşmiş.
Many times this is an allusion to their success; otherwise becoming heavenly is not a matter of discussion.
However, the time of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs could be regarded as one that was heavenly; for in each and every matter, the colour, design, pattern of the heavens is apparent.
If you observe their lifestyle, their sense of justice and integrity, in a way, you will gain a new lens to the afterlife, it will be as if you are in a passageway that will take you to the hereafter.
Their attitude and manners will express this. Onların tavır ve davranışları, bunu ifade eder.
Also during the Umayyad period, possibly Umar ibn Abdulaziz and one other leader could also be included in this group.
Amongst the commanders, it could be the noble Tariq ibn Ziyad, a giant. Mesela komutanlardan Tarık İbn Ziyâd olabilir; o bana çok büyük geliyor.
Promoted by Musa ibn Nusayr from being a slave to the commander of the army. Musa İbn Nusayr'ın kölelikten alarak ordunun başına koyduğu bir insan.
While in a city in Southern Spain, he stands upon the treasury of a king, and says: Kurtuba'da (veya Toleytula'da) kralın hazinelerine ayaklarını bastığı zaman diyor ki:
'Tariq. "Tarık.
A little while ago you were a slave; yesterday you experienced freedom; today, you are a victorious commander.
Don't forget, that tomorrow you will enter the grave and must account to God for your actions.' Unutma, yarın toprağın altına girip Allah'a hesap vereceksin."
For example, you will perceive Yavuz Sultan Selim in such depth. Mesela, bir Yavuz'u, o derinlikte görebilirsiniz.
From victories at Chaldiran, Marj Dabiq and Ridaniya. Çaldıran zaferi, Mercidabık, Ridâniye.
On his return to Istanbul, people view him as the emperor of the world; they say, 'Everyone is waiting for you at the Topkapı Palace'. Geriye döndüğü zaman, Üsküdar'da, herkes geliyor, istikbal ediyorlar cihan hükümdarını; "Topkapı Sarayı'nda herkes sizi bekliyor" diyorlar.
To this, he says, 'I do not wish to be greeted as a victorious commander'. "Hayır, bir zaferden dönen insanın beklendiği gibi karşılanmak istemem ben" diyor.
Yes, despite their exalted position, they are that much more modest and humble.
When everyone is fast asleep, he secretly crosses the harbour and returns to his palace. Herkes uykuya daldığı zaman, o, sessizce geçiyor öbür tarafa ve sessizce Topkapı Sarayı'ndan içeriye sızıyor.
Secretly... Sızıyor.
You know how some evil tongued people accuse you of 'infiltrating' into positions.
'They have infiltrated everywhere' "Her yere sızmışlar."
Those vile tongued people Şom ağızlar.
I will not curse at them by saying, 'May their tongues become immobile'. Evet, beddua etmiyorum, "Dilleri kurusun" diye.
After all, if they are deserving of committing such acts, their tongues will dry up. Zaten ona kesb-i istihkak etmişler ise, er-geç kuruyacak o diller.
While reciting the phrase denoting to the oneness and unity of God, their tongues will lock and instead they will utter, the beginning of the phrase meaning, 'No, No, No' and will not be able to bring about the rest. Kelime-i Tevhîd'i tilavet edecekleri, okuyacakları zaman, kilit vurulacak, "Lâ, Lâ, Lâ" diyecekler ama devamını diyemeyecekler.
The pharaoh died in a similar state: Firavun da öyle gitti:
'And We brought the Children of Israel across the sea, "Derken, İsrailoğulları'nı denizden geçirdik.
and the Pharaoh and his hosts pursued them with vehement insolence and hostility, Hemen Firavun, askerleriyle beraber haksız ve saldırgan bir şekilde peşlerine düştü.
and when the drowning overtook the Pharaoh, he exclaimed: Nihayet boğulmak üzere iken:
"I have come to believe that there is no deity save Him 'İman ettim.
in whom the Children of Israel believe, İsrailoğulları'nın inandığı İlahtan başka tanrı yokmuş.
and I am of the Muslims (those who have submitted themselves wholly to Him)" (Yunus, 10:90). The Pharaoh says he believed in whom the Children of Israel did. Ben de Ona teslim olanlardanım' dedi" (Yunus, 10:90) ayetinde ifade buyurulduğu üzere, "İsrailoğulları'nın inandığına iman ettim" diyor.
Even as he believes, he does not adopt the correct view and words. İnanırken bile, yine esas yakalaması gerekli olan üslubu yakalayamıyor.
He cannot say 'I believe in the God of Aaron and Moses', but says, 'Children of Israel'. "Hazreti Musa ve Harun'un inandığı ilaha iman ettim" diyemiyor da "Beni İsrail" diyor.
The Children of Israel whom worship the calf. Buzağıya tapan Beni İsrail.
The Children of Israel who chased Korah. The Children of Israel who when they crossed over the sea and met the idol worshippers, said, 'Make us an idol too'. Kârûn'un arkasından koşan Beni İsrail. suyu geçtikten sonra, öbür tarafta puta tapan insanları görünce, "Sen de bize bir put yap" diyen Beni İsrail.
The Children of Israel who said 'go with your Lord, and fight. Indeed, we are remaining right here' (Al-Maedah, 5:24). "Haydi sen Rabbinle git, ikiniz onlarla savaşın, biz işte burada oturuyoruz" (Mâide, 5:24) diyen Beni İsrail.
Consequently, where the Pharaoh would have preferred to say something else, God locked his tongue and made him speak incorrectly. Dolayısıyla, Allah, tam söyleme lüzumunu duyduğu esnada bile, söylenmesi gerekli olan şeyi ona söyletmedi; ağzına fermuar vurdu, kilit vurdu, yanlış şey söyletti.
Perhaps if he had said, 'I believe in the God that Moses and Aaron believe in', God would have wiped away his past just as he did with Abu Sufyan, perhaps he would have walked behind Moses. Belki orada, "Hazreti Musa ve Harun'un inandığı ilaha iman ettim" deseydi, Allahu a'lem, Cenâb-ı Hak da geçmişteki her şeyini -Efendimiz'in Ebu Süfyân'a dediği gibi- silerdi ve yeni bir hayat faslı başlardı onun için; belki o da Seyyidinâ Hazreti Musa'nın arkasından yürür-geçerdi.
Indeed... Evet.
See, let me explain how his tongue was locked with an analogy: Bakın şimdi, nasıl ağza kilit vurulduğunu, bunun tedâî ettirdiği bir başka misalle anlatayım.
At one time, despite being the youngest Imam available, I was made to oversee the execution of two prisoners as a spiritual leader.
I was in a room with a man who parliament declared was to be executed, dressed in my robes.
I entered his cell, and tried to make him declare, 'There is no deity but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God', I was saying, we have reached the end, there is no solution. Hücresine girdim, orada "Lâ ilâhe illallah, Muhammedun Rasûlullah" dedirtmeye çalıştım; yani, "Sona geldik artık, bundan sonra çare yok" dedim.
At first spoke of someone he thought was important and said, 'He will come and we will go home'. O, başta, en büyük gördüğü adamın adını anarak, "O, gelecek, eve gideceğiz" falan dedi.
'Come on Rasim. "Yahu Rasim.
He is not going to come; you are leaving, you will be saved if you say, 'God'. O gelmeyecek; bak, sen bir yere gidiyorsun, 'Allah' dediğin zaman -esasen- kurtulacaksın.
Please say, 'There is no deity but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God'.
I probably repeated this to him ten times: Ben belki on defa ona dedim:
'Please, for the sake of God, say, "There is no deity but God, and Muhammad is the Messenger of God"' but he insisted and responded, 'He will come and we will go home.' "Ne olur yahu, Allah aşkına, 'Lâ ilâhe illallah, Muhammedun Rasûlullah' de" fakat o, inadına, "O, gelecek, eve gideceğiz" dedi.
He did not stop with this phrase. Sadece bana karşı öyle demekle de iktifa etmedi.
Mr Gani was the chief prosecutor. Gani bey, başsavcı idi.
Rasim got up on the chair, the rope was hanging above him. Rasim çıktı sandalyenin üzerine, ip sallanıyor yukarıda.
The chief prosecutor said, 'Rasim. Savcı, "Rasim.
Would you like to make a last statement?' Son bir arzun var mı burada?" dedi.
They asked for his last wish. Son arzusu soruluyor.
He said 'He will come and we will go home.' "O, gelecek" dedi, "Eve gideceğiz."
God did not allow such a person, a man who killed an entire family to say, 'There is no deity but God'. Allah (celle celâluhu), bir aileyi öldürmüş o insana "Lâ ilâhe illallah" dedirtmedi.
Maybe he lost his mind, maybe he lost his senses? Aklını mı kaybetmiş, genel dengesi mi bozulmuş?
He was not able to declare God's Oneness and Unity. Kelime-i tevhîdi söyleyemedi.
And the other was a murderer as well, his name was Mehmet, they used to call him 'Mamo'.
I begged him, implored him; I sat next to him. Yalvardım, yakardım; yanına oturdum.
But, on one side there was the gendarme commander, the chief executer on the other side, the warden on another, and I, the so called 'spiritual leader' on the other.
He sat on a chair. Sandalyeye oturuyor.
I said 'Let's read the declarations of faith'; he recited half of it, but could not get his tongue around the rest.
He had some faith but could not complete reciting the declarations.
They also took him, sad and grieved, to the chair, put the rope around his neck and removed the chair, he dangled like straw.
I hope he had faith, hopefully he is gone only with that sin and that God will forgive him.
Now, if a person commits such a sin, may God protect us from it, he might not be able to articulate like the Pharaoh and will be stuck at 'There is no'. Şimdi insan, hafizanallah, öyle mesâvî irtikâp ederse, Firavun'un diyemediği gibi, diyemeyebilir; "Lâ" der, kalır.
For, 'You will die in the way you live and you will be raised in the way you die.' Zira, "Nasıl yaşıyorsanız, öyle ölürsünüz; nasıl ölüyorsanız, öyle dirilirsiniz."
So will you thus commit oppression? Öyle sen zulüm yapacaksın.
Violate the rights of people? İnsanların kanına gireceksin.
Pay lip service to words such as 'justice' and 'truth' but walk all over them. "Hak, adalet" diyecek fakat ikisini de ayağının altına alacaksın.
Trample all over 'justice'. Adaletin üzerinde raks edeceksin.
Ignore the wails of the wailing. İnleyenin inlemesini duymayacaksın.
Ignore the cries of the crying. Ağlayanın ağlamasını duymayacaksın.
Deny medicine to people begging for medicine in different places. Değişik yerlerde "İlaç" diye inleyen insanlara ilaç vermeyeceksin.
Imagine someone says: 'I have arrhythmia in my heart, "Kalbimde aritmi var.
I cannot hold on, I am dying'. Vücudum, onu taşımayacak; ben ölüyorum" diyecek.
Yes, recently, a close friend of 40 years died like this; It made me cry. İşte yakında ölen, bugün beni hıçkıra hıçkıra ağlatan, samimi, otuz-kırk senedir tanıdığım arkadaş.
He said to those around him, 'Give me my medicine', and they refused. "İlacımı verin benim" diyor, vermiyorlar.
Another of those is my brother. Bunlardan bir tanesi de benim kardeşim.
He has diabetes. Yüksek şekeri var onun.
He asked for medicine, his fingers were impaired. İlaç istiyor, parmakları bozulmuş.
They refused. İlaç vermiyorlar.
How can you commit such atrocities, and then go on to claim 'I am Muslim'. Sen, bunca mezâlimi irtikâp edeceksin de "Müslümanım" diyeceksin.
I swear, you are absolutely not as you say. Ben burada yemin ederim, sen, kat'iyyen dediğin gibi değilsin.
You are a hypocrite. Sen, münafığın tekisin.
At one stage, some steps were taken. Belli bir dönemde, adımlar atılmıştı.
I do not know if those steps were taken sincerely, or as a reaction to certain others. Tam inanılarak o adım atılmış mıydı, yoksa birilerine karşı tepki hareketi miydi?
There was a man who was executed, I remember him with fondness.
Bediüzzaman mentions him with praise; you will see in the Supplements.
Did he pray or not; I am not sure, I had some doubts. Namaz kılıyor muydu, kılmıyor muydu; şüphem vardı benim.
But there was one thing that made me cry. Fakat bir şeye ağladım.
Do you know what it was? Neye biliyor musunuz?
When they were taking him to hang him, he said: İpe götürürken, orada, yanındaki insanlara döndü, dedi ki:
'If you permit, let me pray two cycles of Prayer'. There, I cried with joy and said 'All praise be to God', and 'Yes, he had faith!' "Müsaade ederseniz, iki rekat namaz kılayım" ben, sevincimden hıçkıra hıçkıra ağladım, "Elhamdülillah" dedim, "Allah'a inanıyor, inşaallah."
He led the nation one way or another for ten years. Milleti, on sene şöyle-böyle idare etti:
During that time, the Religious Education schools were established. İmam Hatipler açıldı.
The Qur'an courses became decriminalized. Kur'an kursları -bir yönüyle- serbest vazife yapar hale geldi.
The call to Prayer was freed. Ezanımız bizim serbest oldu.
The words of the adhan are its pillars. O ezanın kelimeleri, ezanın rüknüdür.
They allowed it to be read out in its original Arabic form. Ezanı hüviyet-i asliyesiyle duyma imkânını onlar hazırladı.
Was it a reactionary move, or was it because he genuinely believed in it? Bir yere tepki hareketi miydi, yoksa onun öyle olmasına inandığından dolayı mı yapmıştı?
The latter option is an expression of our good will, God-willing. İkinci şık, hüsnüzannımızın ifadesi, inşaallah.
What I saw in his children seems to also support this view. Evlatlarında gördüğüm de bunu teyîd ediyor.
We had a close relationship with one of them. He visited us repeatedly. He was a believer and he observed his Prayers. Birisi ile çok yakın tanışıklığımız oldu, defaatla gitti-geldi; Allah'a inanıyordu, namaz kılıyordu.
God willing, let us say he was like that. İnşaallah, öyle idi, diyelim.
He came to a certain point with that. Onunla bir yere kadar geldi.
Then, he came to a certain point in a government service position.
He was a believer. İnanıyordu.
For example, a few days before his death, he called me and asked that I pray for him. Mesela vefatından üç-beş gün evvel, Fakîr'i aradı telefonla; "Hocam, ne olur, bana çok dua et" dedi.
If he didn't believe, he would not ask for prayer from such a sinful person as myself.
However, in the sense you understand, he may not have had a profundity of the heart; his conscience may not have fully developed.
But even this is very important. Fakat o kadarı bile, çok önemlidir.
When that university was being opened, other important people were also present. O Üniversite açılırken, başka çok büyük insanlar vardı orada.
A leader of a party. Bir partinin genel başkanı da vardı.
There was also a leader of another institute as well, he made a speech too.
Even as you are sitting, I was here and he was talking like that; he faced me and talked to me. He was such a thinker.
He did not invite any others, but held my hand and said, 'Come with me, we are friends' Onlardan hiçbirine "Benim ile beraber gelin" demedi; fakat sadece Kıtmîr'in elinden tuttu, "Gel yahu" dedi, "Bizler, arkadaşız."
I sat next to him. Yanına oturttu.
He would not do it if he had no respect for this matter, this service. Azıcık meseleye karşı saygısı olmasaydı, bunu yapmazdı.
In addition, during his period of duty, he had written and given me perhaps thirty presidential letters, I kept them. Ayrıca, vazife yaptığı dönemde, belki otuz tane Cumhurbaşkanlığı patentli mektubun altına imza attı, verdi; o mektupları ben saklıyordum.
I don't think that God will nullify those things. Allah'ın, bunları boşa çıkaracağına ihtimal vermiyorum.
God is the All-Compassionate, the All-Just, the All-Generous and I add one more, He is the All-Affectionate. Allah, Erhamü'r-râhimîn, A'delu'l-âdilîn, Ekremü'l-ekremîn, bir şey ilave ediyorum, Eşfakü'l-müşfikîn'dir.
The matter only came to a certain extent with him.
The following man studied in America.
He was of the Anatolian people. Anadolu insanı idi.
He did a lot; he changed the colours of many things. Çok şey yaptı, rengini değiştirdi her şeyin.
He also traveled to various places and said that 'I am a guarantor for this matter, these people' Ayrıca, değişik yerlerde gezdi, "Ben, kefilim bu işe" dedi.
On his last vacation, a few days before his death he traveled countries in Asia and wherever he went he said that he is a guarantor. En son, seyahatinde, ölümünden iki-üç gün evvel, Asya devletlerini dolaştı; nereye gittiyse, "Ben, kefilim" dedi.
When our friends didn't accompany him, he called me in order for them to accompany him and said 'I am going to these places for you, why aren't your friends coming?'
'I am going for those schools' he said. "O okullar için gidiyorum ben" dedi.
And this was his final good act, in the name of those schools; in effect he acted as a reference for this movement.
Then he returned. Sonra döndü, geldi.
Someone close to him explained to me: Bana yakınında bulunan birisi anlattı:
'He was praying the Friday Prayer, he couldn't stand.' "Cuma namazı kılıyordu, ayağa kalkamadı."
And later as he was walking on the treadmill. Ve sonra da işte bantta yürürken.
Someone near him, someone dismissed from the military, said, 'It was definitely not from walking on the treadmill. Yanındaki birisi -askerlikten ayrılma birisi- "Hocam, kat'iyyen" dedi, "O, bantta yürümekten dolayı değil.
He was poisoned by those who couldn't stand him.' This was later confirmed by a doctor at the head of criminology; when he came here he said, 'He was poisoned however they did not want me to make such a report, they dismissed me from my duty.
I was going to write down 'poisoned" in the report but they dismissed me from my duty.' Ben, 'Zehirlendi.' diye rapor verecektim ama beni aldılar vazifeden" dedi.
The matter could only come to a certain extent with these people. Onunla da mesele, bir yere kadar geldi.
Something happened; some things were going to happen. Bir şey oldu; bir şeyler yapılacaktı.
There was a spread to 170 countries of the world. Dünyanın yüz yetmiş ülkesine açılma oldu.
While he was alive, there were maybe 200 or 300 schools in different parts of the world. O hayatta iken daha, belki iki yüz, üç yüz tane okul vardı, dünyanın değişik yerlerinde.
Then on that path by God's leave, this number reached the 1400s. Ee ondan sonra o çizgide, o hizada Allah'ın izni-inayetiyle, bin dört yüzlere ulaştı o okullar.
When he was ill in Houston; I visited him. Burada, Houston'da hastaydı; kendisini ziyarete gittim.
He hugged me in the hospital, he cried. Hastanede bana sarıldı, ağladı.
And from my perspective on that day his wife didn't leave the room; I think she only left to say 'bring some tea for my guest'.
Also when I was leaving she said, 'Semra, our guest is leaving, show him the way'.
Even this memory displayed such deep consideration.
He hugged me, cried and said: Sarıldı bana, ağladı ve dedi ki:
'I know what these schools represent; I can't seem to explain it to these people.' When he said 'these people', I am not sure who he was referring to; I am not sure if it was some people from a certain town, or some people of a certain palace. "Ben, bu okulların ne ifade ettiğini, bunlara bir türlü anlatamıyorum." "Bunlar" dediği kimdi, bilemiyorum; bir "İ" mahallenin insanı mı, bir "A" sarayının insanları mı, bilemiyorum.
He expressed his sorrow and grief when he said, 'I cannot explain it to these people'. "Ben, bunlara anlatamıyorum" dedi; teessürünü ifade etti, sarıldı ve hissini bu şekilde dillendirdi.
The matter could only come to a certain extent with these people. Mesele, onlar ile bir yere kadar geldi.
Through its practice, in a way, they virtually laid out the beginning of the matter. Yapmada onlar, bir yönüyle, âdetâ meselenin statiğini size verdiler.
And then there was also the Social Democrat. Bir de Sosyal Demokrat vardı.
I met with him two or three times when he was in power. İki üç defa başta iken de görüştüm.
I even went to his home. Evine de gittim.
Even so, humility and modesty are such things; they are characteristics of Islam. Hatta tevazu, mahviyet başka şey; İslam sıfatı.
Cevdet was with me, as well as a retired military officer; there was also a person who now writes articles against us, someone who left us.
I said, 'go to the kitchen and prepare some tea; do not let our friend's wife make the tea.' He replied back saying 'No, you are our guests, I am meant to be preparing the tea.'
He acted in such a gentlemanly manner that I felt embarrassed and ashamed.
He never used to speak to me without buttoning up his suit. Düğmelerini iliklemeden Fakîr ile konuşmuyordu.
Who am I to deserve such respect, but that was the depth of his respect.
Look. Bakın.
There was a friend of ours who would visit him quite frequently, you would know him too, he is here, in America, in Texas. Yanına sık sık giden arkadaşımız vardı, onu da bilirsiniz, burada, Amerika'da, Teksas'ta bulunuyor.
'Believe me, when he would receive a phone call from you, he would not answer the phone without buttoning up his suit.' "İnanın sizden telefon geldiği zaman, düğmelerini iliklemeden konuşmazdı, telefonla."
A prime minister who had grown up in an environment of Social Democrats. Sosyal Demokrat bir ortamda neşet etmiş bir insan, bir başbakan.
'I said something to him' said this friend in Texas. "Bir şeyi söyledim ben kendisine" diyor o arkadaş.
In America, there were 30 schools; not 140, not 150, only 30 schools. Amerika'da, otuz tane okul; yani yüz kırk tane, yüz elli tane değil, otuz tane okul.
'In these 30 schools, 30 percent of them have elective Turkish language classes.' "Bu yirmi-otuz tane okulda, yüzde otuz nispetinde seçmeli Türkçe dersi."
He was so delighted that it was as if he was going dance, hearing the news that 'in a place like America, my language, the Turkish language is being taught as an elective subject.'
So there were those who were brave and altruistic in supporting these actions and brought them to a certain level.
This was the real justice. Gerçek adalet, bu idi.
This was the show of respect to the Truth. Hakka saygının ifadesi, bu idi.
The balanced way of acting. Dengeli davranmanın ifadesi, bu idi.
They acted in a levelheaded manner; and so with God's will their cause reached a certain point, without stumbling and faltering at a rapid rate.
I would assume that if they were still alive their achievements would have doubled, with God's consent and blessings. Zannediyorum hayatları devam etseydi, mesele iki katına çıkacaktı, Allah'ın izni-inayetiyle.
The despicable people who have taken their place (apologies for my inappropriate language), instead of supporting this valiant cause, have made it their 'holy duty' to set hurdles for these great people to trip over. Yerlerine gelen namertler, onların o işin yapılması adına destek olmalarına mukabil. -Halk ifadesi olduğu için, biraz avamca olduğundan dolayı mazur görürsünüz beni.- Onların destek olmalarına mukabil "köstek" olmayı kutsal bir vazife sayarak, köstek olmaya başladılar.
The people that I have mentioned earlier were proper 'humans', as they lived their life by values such as justice, human rights and service to humanity. Şimdi, saydığım bu insanlar, "insan" idi; çünkü davranışlarına bakınca, hakkaniyete bağlı, adalete bağlı, derin insanlığa bağlı, insanca hizmete saygıya bağlı şeylerdi bunlar.
If we were to compare these noble people to those who have taken their place, we'd have trouble calling them 'human'.
If the word 'human' were to come alive and claim its right in the next world, God forbid, I fear that it would be too heavy on our scales if we don't fulfil its right. Bu kelime canlansa, "insan" kelimesi canlansa, davacı olsa, öbür tarafta, mizanda, terazinin aleyhimizde olan kefesi, ağırlığından dolayı aşağıya iner, hafizanallah.
Yes, if justice is balance, staying away from excessiveness and avoiding apathy; Divine Essence and the noble Prophethood are the best examples of this. Evet, adalet eğer denge ise, ifrata-tefrite girmeme ise şayet, Zât-ı Ulûhiyeti bilme mevzuunda, Peygamberliği kendi manasıyla kavrama mevzuunda hep denge.
Look; there are those who strive relentlessly, disregarding the freewill that they most certainly have and falling into deviance. Bakın; bazıları, Zât-ı Ulûhiyeti tenzih adına, bir yönüyle korkunç, mutlak manada bir cebre sapıyorlar; bütün bütün iradeyi nefyederek, ayrı bir sapıklık içine düşüyorlar.
There are those who say 'Man is the creator of deeds' and live by this in deviance and disregard destiny. Bazıları "Kul, fiilinin hâlıkıdır" demek suretiyle, ayrı bir sapıklık içine düşüyorlar.
Some fall into the pit of likening God to His creations. Bazıları "teşbih" sapıklığı üzerine düşüyorlar.
Some lose themselves in support of ascribing a place and space to God. Bazıları, "hayyiz" sapıklığı içine düşüyorlar, hafizanallah.
Whereas; Oysaki
'My Lord has no equals, peers, rivals, or opposites, "Bulunmaz Rabbimiz'in zıddı ve ne niddi misli âlemde,
He is the All-Transcendent and exempt from having a form. Ve sûretten münezzehtir, mukaddestir teâlallah.
He has no partners, and is distinct from begetting and being begotten. Şerîki yok, berîdir doğmadan, doğurmadan ancak;
He is Unique, having no equal; He mentions these in the Chapter Al-Ikhlas. Ehad'dir, küfvü yok, İhlâs içinde zikreder Allah.
He is neither a body nor a substance, nor is He an accident, nor of matter. Ne cism ü ne arazdır, ne mütehayyiz ne cevherdir.
He does not eat, nor drink, nor is contained in time: He is high above all such features. Yemez, içmez, zaman geçmez, berîdir cümleden Allah.
He is absolutely free from change and alteration, in fact even from having and shape or form. Tebeddülden, tegayyürden, dahi elvân ü eşkâlden,
He is pure, free of negative attributes. Muhakkak ol müberrâdır, budur selbî sıfâtullah.
He is neither in the heavens nor on the earth; neither on the right nor on the left; neither before nor after; Ne göklerde, ne yerlerde, ne sağ ve sol ne ön ardda;
He is absolutely free from any direction. He is not contained by space.' Cihetlerden münezzehtir ki, hiç olmaz mekânullah."
May God protect us! Hafizanallah.
Essentially, this is the expression of balance in the Divine Essence.
This is the expression of worship and devoted servanthood to God. Cenâb-ı Hakk'a karşı ibadet, ubudiyet ve ubûdet'in ifadesidir.
For if we are performing the compulsory and commendable forty units of Prayer.
If we were to add the Awwabin, Tahajjud, Duha and Ishraq Prayers to this, I believe it would be around sixty units of Prayer. Buna Evvâbîn'i ilave ederseniz, Teheccüd'ü ilave ederseniz, Duhâ'yı ilave ederseniz, İşrâk'ı da ilave ederseniz şayet, zannediyorum altmış defa olur.
We end up reciting the following up to sixty times a day: Günde altmış defa biz -bazılarını dinleyerek, bazılarını da okuyarak- (şöyle) diyoruz:
'My Lord! "Allah'ım.
Guide us to the Straight Path. The Path of those whom You have favoured. The Prophets, the truthful ones (loyal to God's cause and truthful in whatever they do and say), and the witnesses (those who see the hidden Divine truths and testify thereto with their lives), and the righteous ones (in all their deeds and sayings, and dedicated to setting everything right)... How excellent they are for companions!' (An-Nisa, 4:69). Bizi sırât-ı müstakîme hidayet eyle." "Kendilerine nimet lütfettiklerinin yoluna." "Nebîler, bütün duygu, düşünce, inanç ve davranışlarında dosdoğru ve Allah'a karşı tam bir sadakat içinde bulunan, özü sözü bir kimseler (sıddîklar); başkalarının inandığı gaybî gerçekleri bizzat tecrübe eden ve onların doğruluğuna hayatlarıyla şehadet edenler (şahitler/şehitler) ve inanç, düşünce, söz ve davranışları itibarıyla doğru yolda, sağlam, bozgunculuktan uzak, ıslah ve tamir gayesi güdenler (sâlihler). Ne güzel arkadaşlardır bunlar" (Nisa, 4:69).
Wow! Off.
Can you imagine being friends, companions with them? Onlara arkadaş olmak, refîk olmak; canlara can.
With the Messengers, the truthful ones, the martyrs and the righteous? Nebîlere, sıddîklara, şehitlere, sâlihlere.
This is a balance, and to keep this balance in one way is a form of justice.
We must not have a narrow understanding. Meseleyi dar dairede ele almamak lazım.
In a traditional sense justice comes to mean being just and respecting human rights, and making decisions based on laws. Ama ister İslamî hukuk sisteminde, isterse modern hukuk sisteminde "adalet" dendiği zaman, daha ziyade, insanlara karşı âdilâne hükmetme, karar verirken âdilâne hükmetme, kanunlar çerçevesinde hükmetme anlaşılıyor.
Unlike how people are being arrested and taken away, their deaths are being looked upon with wide grins, and being celebrated by shouting 'they are becoming extinct'. Böyle, gelişi güzel, insanları derdest etme, paketleme, bir yerden bir yere gönderme; ölümlerini tebessüm ile karşılama, "Yok oluyorlar" diye zil takıp oynama, filan.
This is not justice, this is tyranny itself. Bunlar, "adalet" değil, zulmün tâ kendisidir.
One day, the All-True Master and Protector will make the cruel say: "Zalimlere dedirtir bir gün Kudret-i Mevlâ
'God has indeed preferred you above us, and certainly we were sinful' (Yusuf, 12:91). Tallâhi lekad âserekellahu aleynâ."
(Think about the amount of suffering the Prophet Joseph went through because of them.
God Almighty makes even the oppressors say, 'God has preferred you above us,' like his repentant brothers once said to the Prophet Joseph).
'If the oppressor has cruelty, the oppressed have God. "Zâlimin zulmü varsa, mazlumun Allah'ı var
It is easy to torment people now, but tomorrow there is the Judgment.' Bugün halka cevretmek kolay, yarın Hakk'ın divanı var."
and they have said, 'Those who prosper through tyranny, will be ruined in the afterlife', ve "Zulm ile âbâd olanın, âhiri berbâd olur" demişlerdir.
An example is the Pharaoh İşte örneği, Firavun.
Other examples are Ramesses, Amenophis, Ibn Shams. İşte örneği Ramses, Amnofis, İbn Şems.
And others: İşte örneği:
The Hitler's, Saddam's and Ghaddafi's. Hitler'ler, Saddam'lar, Kazzâfî'ler.
There are hundreds and thousands of examples, and there is the repetition of similar events across history, 'There is always a Moses in the face of a Pharaoh'.
You can swap it around and say it like this as well: Tersine çevirip şöyle de diyebilirsiniz:
'There has always been a Pharaoh in the face of a Moses' "Her Musa'nın karşısında bir Firavun olmuştur."
In contemporary times, the people who walk on the path of the noble Spirit of the Master of Humankind will also find Pharaoh's in front of them. Günümüzde Hazreti Rûh-u Seyyidi'l-Enâm'ın yolunda yürüyenlerin karşılarında da Firavunlar olacaktır.
If God Almighty wants them to find the truth and be truly guided and if they also want this, may God Almighty give them true guidance.
Or else we leave it to God, as God will deal with them; may their fate be like those of their predecessors. Yoksa Allah'a havale ediyoruz, Allah haklarından gelsin; seleflerinin âkıbeti ile onları da âkibetlendirsin.
