Does the Gülen Movement intend to reduce or remove all differences among people and social systems?
The Gülen Movement equips people with cognitive, social, cultural and material resources to construct their present and future. It also equips them with the language to design their experience in all of its dimensions. The codes of behavior and services in the Gülen Movement enable people to make sense of their actions and to mediate between a plurality of conflicting demands and communities. The Gülen Movement does not attempt by its action to reduce or remove all specificities and irreducible differences among people and social systems; it intends to educate people to respect and benefit from those differences.
