Çağlayan Başyazı: Kendileriyle Yüzleşmede Hâle İle Hallenenler-2

O Man, Know your Worth

The Holy Qur'an draws attention to two types of prayers: Kur'an-ı Kerim iki türlü duayı nazara veriyor:
'For there are, among humankind, those who pray, "Our Lord, grant us in the world." "Bazı kimseler, 'Ey Yüce Rabbimiz, bize vereceğini bu dünyada ver.' derler.
and they have no share in the Hereafter' (Al-Baqarah, 2:200). Bunların âhirette nasipleri yoktur" (Bakara, 2:200).
They say, 'O My Lord, give us beauty, prominence, opportunities, splendour, extravagance, palaces, villas, yachts, pounds of gold, children, people who will follow our lead and continue our progeny, give us the light of prosperity that will never cease.' "Allah'ım, dünyada bize güzellikler, seçkinlikler, imkânlar, debdebeler, ihtişamlar, saraylar, villalar, filolar, kilo kilo altınlar, evlâd u ıyâller, izimizi takip edecek, bizi izleyecek nesiller, hiç sönmeyecek ikbal ışıkları/meşaleler" filan derler.
'Grant us in the world.' "Bize vereceğini bu dünyada ver."
The Qur'an states: Kur'an diyor ki:
'There is no share for them in the Hereafter.' "Âhirette, onlar için bir nasip yoktur."
There is another point here, there is emphasis placed on the diction and pronunciation of this verse, so it sounds unique to the ears of the reader; the purpose being that the listener remembers the melody.
They should know it well, in a manner that inspires the neurons- indeed, all of the Qur'an is a miracle.
And among them are those who pray, 'Our Lord. Diğer taraftan, "Bazıları da, 'Ey bizim (Yüce) Rabbimiz.
Grant us in the world what is good, and in the Hereafter what is good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire' (Al-Baqarah, 2:201).
Then there are those, who even in their happiest times, their best moments and places, when standing at Arafat and Muzdalifa, staying at Mina, whilst circumambulating the Ka'ba and stoning the station of Satan, they continually repeat grant us 'Goodness, O God, goodness.
Whatever you define is good, that Goodness,' that will be your prayer. Sen neye güzel diyor isen, o" duasıyla değerlendirirler.
From a theological perspective, this is the 'canonical beauty', not the 'rational beauty'. Usûlüddin açısından meseleye bakılacak olursa, "hüsn-i şer'î" denir ona, "hüsn-i aklî" değil.
At times these two coincide. Bazen bunlar örtüşür.
Those who have attained the truth describe what the brain processes as good or evil as the 'rational beauty' and 'rational ugliness'. Aklın güzel veya kötü gördüğü şeylere muhakkikine göre "hüsn-i aklî" ve "kubh-i aklî" denmiştir.
However, the actual matter is what the religion, the Qur'an and Tradition regard as pleasant and ugly. Ama asıl mesele, dinin güzel gördüğü, Kur'an'ın güzel gördüğü, Sünnet'in güzel gördüğü ve çirkin gördüğü şeyler.
According to Imam al-Ghazali, each ugly thing is a sort of 'perdition'; they should be seen as destructive and painful, one should run away from them like you would from a venomous snake. Çirkin görülen şeyler, İmam Gazzâlî ifadesiyle, birer "mühlikât"tır; kahredici, mahvedici faktörler şeklinde görüp yılandan-çıyandan kaçıyor gibi kaçmak lazım onlardan.
And for the good, to get caught up in them, whatever its worth, to constantly speak of it, to strive to do good and chase after it. İyi şeylere gelince, onların arkasına takılma, ne pahasına olursa olsun, hep onları dillendirme, onları realize etmeye çalışma ve onların arkasından koşma icap eder.
These people can encounter hardships in worldly affairs. Böyleleri, dünyevî bazı zararlara uğrayabilirler.
However, if they have secured the Hereafter, then they have nothing to lose.
Why? Neden?
Thousands of years of blissful life in this world is not worth a moment in Paradise. Çünkü dünyanın binlerce sene mesûdâne hayatı, Cennet'in bir dakika hayatına mukabil gelmiyor.
They have gained that. Onu kazanmışlar.
And they have been granted the pleasure of directly witnessing the Beauty and Perfection of His Divine Essence, a moment of which surpasses thousands of years of blissful life in Paradise. Ve Cennet'in de binlerce sene mesûdâne hayatı, bir dakika Rü'yet-i Cemaline mukabil gelmeyen Zât-ı Ulûhiyet'in Cemâl-i bâ-kemâlini müşahedeyi kazanmışlar.
Süleyman Çelebi says regarding this topic: Süleyman Çelebi, bu meseleyi ifade ederken,
'Come, O My beloved one! "Gel Habibim.
I have fallen in love with you. Sana âşık olmuşam
I have made all of creation a servant on your path.' Cümle halkı, Sana bende kılmışam" diyor.
However, Bediüzzaman, the Owner of Authority, the Spokesman of our Age, does not find the word 'love' suitable in relation to the Divine Essence.
Nevertheless, because Süleyman Çelebi, who is described as sincere by Bediüzzaman, does not find the word 'affection' adequate for expressing the utmost affection between God, may He be glorified and exalted, and His Beloved, peace and blessings be upon him, he has resorted to using the word 'love'. Fakat Allah'ın (celle celâluhu) o Zât'a (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) karşı fevkalade muhabbetini ifade etme adına, "muhabbet" kelimesini yeterli bulmadığından, o saf, temiz, duru Anadolu insanı -Hazreti Pîr, ona "ihlaslı" diyor- o mülahazayı "aşk" kelimesiyle ifade etmiş.
To walk on such a path, in the direction of directly witnessing God and the true realities of existence, and to execute every action with this in mind. Öyle bir yolda yürümek ve O'nun (celle celâluhu) Cemâl-i bâ-kemâlini müşahede istikametinde oturmak, kalkmak.
In this respect, I presume that you are of the same opinion. Bu açıdan, zannediyorum sizler de aynı kanaattesinizdir.
For example, I can say this: Hani, şöyle diyebilirim:
'My dear master, spiritual guide, shining light, "Azîzim, rehberim, pîrim, efendim, şem'-i tâbânım
My remembrance of God is illumination in both worlds Ziya-i himmetimdir her iki âlemde devrânım
All of my disciples agree with these hopeful prayers Benimle müttefiktir bu recâda cümle ihvanım
Help us, O noble Spiritual Pole, the greatest Spiritual Helper, the king of all time Aman ey kutb-ı ekrem, gavs-ı âzam, şah-ı devranım
Never neglect these servants, O our dearest Sultan!' Nazardan dûr kılma bendegânı, gözde sultanım!"
(Katanjizade; one of the caliphs of the honourable Sage of Kufrawi.) (Ketencizâde; Pîr-i Küfrevî hazretlerinin halifelerinden birisi.)
'All of my disciples agree with these hopeful prayers.' "Benimle müttefiktir bu recâda cümle ihvânım."
My brothers would probably share the same thoughts. Kardeşlerim aynı şeyi paylaşırlar her halde.
Our every action and coming together should be aimed at the development of a mindset in people which is focused on God only, by using all of the faculties of the human mind. Oturup kalkmalar, bir araya gelmeler, insanlarda Allah'a müteveccih zihin ufkunu inkişaf ettirmeye, beyindeki bütün nöronları o istikamette çalıştırmaya matuf olmalı.
We should be focused on the Hereafter without neglecting the worldly life. Ahiret esas olmalı; dünya da ihmal edilmemeli.
'But seek, by means of what God has granted you, the abode of the Hereafter (by spending in alms and other good causes), "Allah'ın sana ihsan ettiği nimetlerle ebedî âhiret yurdunu mamur etmeye gayret göster.
'Without forgetting your share (which God has appointed) in this world' (Al-Qasas, 28:77). Dünyadan da nasibini unutma" (Kasas, 28:77).
We can also approach the topic as follows: Meseleye şöyle de yaklaşabilirsiniz:
Give the world and the Hereafter what they each deserve, according to their worth and significance. Dünyaya, dünya kadar; ukbâya da ukbâ kadar.
Give our worldly pleasures, joys and satisfaction their due attention, but also our connection with the Divine Essence.
We need to make the comparison in that way. Mukayeseyi ona göre yapmak lazım.
All of our actions should be aimed at establishing a balance between this worldly life and the Hereafter, to form strong relations regarding both, so that we can carry out the necessary requirements in each aspect and be prepared.
Balancing this worldly life with the Hereafter. Dünya ve ukbâ dengesi.
Or it should be directed towards personal spiritual progress. Veya şahsî kemâlâta matuf olmalı.
Essentially, when one attains spiritual perfection, it also reflects on one's status in the Hereafter. Attaining spiritual perfection makes one's life -both worldly and other worldly- prosperous.
Most of the time, when we speak of 'personal spiritual progress', we think of it as doing extraordinary things such as 'showing wonders', 'floating in the air', 'walking on water', and 'travelling beyond time and space'.
A statement attributed to Imam Ali: Hazreti Ali'ye nisbet edilen bir söz:
'Do not seek to perform wonders. But instead, strive to be on the straight path and be upright.' "İstikamet sahibi olmaya bak, doğru dürüst ol, kerâmet sahibi değil."
God the Almighty says: 'Pursue, then, what is exactly right (in every matter of the Religion), as you are commanded (by God), and those who, along with you, have turned (to God with faith, repenting their former ways, let them do likewise); Allah (celle celâluhu) "Öyleyse ey Rasûlüm, sen beraberinde olup tevbe edenlerle birlikte, sana nasıl emredilmişse öyle dosdoğru hareket et.
and do not rebel against the bounds of the Straight Path (O believers)! Aşırı gitmeyin, taşkınlık yapmayın.
He indeed sees well all that you do' (Hud, 11:112). Çünkü O, yaptığınız her şeyi görmekte olup işlerinizin karşılığını da size verecektir" (Hûd, 11:112) buyuruyor.
In the blessed Chapter Hud: Hûd sûre-i celîlesinde.
By fully understanding the meaning of this Chapter and being the principal addressee of this message, the Messenger of God said: Onun için Allah Rasûlü, onu bütün enginliği ile anladığından, ona bihakkın muhatap olduğunu tam kavradığından dolayı buyuracaktır ki:
'The Chapter Hud made me age.' "Hûd Sûresi beni yaşlandırdı."
In some narrations, the Companions of the Prophet said: Bir kısım rivayetlerde, sahabe diyor ki:
'When this Chapter was revealed, the Prophet's hair partially whitened.' I believe you'd share this sentiment with me when I say, 'My life for a single hair of His'. "Bu ayet nâzil olduktan sonra Efendimiz'in (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) mübarek saçlarında, o güzel saçlarında -Kâkül-i gülberglerinin tek teline Kıtmîr bin defa kurban olsun.
I believe that you will agree with me in my supplication, and so his hair greyed.
In a sense, this chapter caused in him such suffering that it took away all his peace.
The Qur'an says to the Prophet: 'Pursue, then, what is exactly right (in every matter of the Religion), as you are commanded (by God).' And then it addresses us. Kur'ân, "Sana nasıl emredilmişse öyle dosdoğru hareket et" diyor; sonra bize dönüyor.
The next part does not address him.
After addressing the Prophet, the Qur'an addresses us, 'Do not rebel against the bounds of the Straight Path (O believers)!' "Ha, siz de sakın taşkınlığa düşmeyin" diyor, O'na öyle dedikten sonra.
In a way, the Prophet is given a target to reach the peak while we are reminded not to fall to the lowest of the ranks. Bir yönüyle, O'na zirveyi işaretleme demek; bize gelince, esfel-i sâfilîne sukût etmemeyi hatırlatma demek oluyor.
Therefore, human beings can travel between these two extremes.
The Qur'an points to this matter in various chapters. For instance: Kur'an-ı Kerim'de değişik yerlerde bu husus nazara veriliyor; mesela herkesin bildiği Kısâr'dan (kısa surelerden) bir misal diyeyim:
'By the fig and the olive. "Tîn'e, Zeytûn'a (incir ve zeytine) kasem olsun.
And (by) Mount Sinai' (At-Tin, 95:1-2). Tûr-i Sînâ'ya da kasem olsun" (Tîn, 95:1-2).
These are what God swears by. Allah diyor, yemin ediyor.
He swears while articulating His Holy Book, which, if appropriately comprehended, will bring about quivering of hearts of the readers. Zât-ı Ulûhiyet, o dosdoğru, hakikaten doğruluğu ile kavrandığı takdirde insanın içinde ihtizazlar, heyecanlar hâsıl edecek beyanını ifade ederken yemin ediyor.
That Holy Book already possesses the depth and power of persuasion; if you perceive it within its own profundity, you will be able to comprehend it. O beyan zaten kendisini kabul ettirecek derinlikte; ona kendi derinliği ile baktığınız zaman siz, onu duyacaksınız.
However, God issues a warning; He says, 'I swear by. Fakat bir de tembihte bulunuyor Allah; "Yemin ederim" diyor, "And olsun.
Assuredly...' Kasem olsun" diyor:
Surely they each have their appropriate purposes. Evet, bunların hepsinin kendine göre yerleri var.
Some scientists have studied the fig and the olive as well as the relationship between the two, found that they are both very beneficial for problems in the colon, and as a result of this miracle of the Qur'an, have converted to Islam. İlim adamlarından ikisi, Tîn ile Zeytin ve aralarındaki münasebet konusunda araştırma yapmışlar; kolonlardaki problemlere karşı çok iyi geldiğini denemişler, görmüşler; dolayısıyla Kur'an-ı Kerim'in bu mucizesi karşısında ihtida etmişler.
Nevertheless, the miracles are not restricted to these. Şimdi mesele sadece buna ait değildir esasen.
We do not know the mysteries of these two fruits, and what Almighty God has incorporated in them as part of His creative commands. Bilemiyoruz onların sırlarını; Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın o "tekvinî emirler" içinde onlara daha neler yüklediğini bilemiyoruz.
This is a matter which should be examined by the pharmacologists of today in laboratories, in order to fully understand why God has chosen these two pieces of His creation to swear by. O, günümüzün farmakologları (ilaç bilimcileri) tarafından laboratuvarlarda tahlil edilmeye vabeste bir husustur; analizlere tâbi tutularak "Niye Allah bunlara yemin etti" konusu araştırılmalıdır.
As well as being a holy location, Mount Sinai is where God, may He be glorified and exalted, as suitable to His Grandeur, directly addressed Prophet Moses, who is considered one of the five great Prophets. "Tûr-i Sînâ", kutsal bir yer olması itibarıyla, Allah (celle celâluhu) orada Kendi azamet ve Ulûhiyetine uygun/mütenasip şekilde, çok sevdiği, beş tane büyük peygamberden biri olan Hazreti Mûsâ'ya sesleniyor.
Therefore, it must be a most suitable location for directly addressing His prophet.
Also, as expressed by the great interpreter of the Qur'an, there must be considerable wealth buried underneath the mountain, in regards to creation.
Now, Almighty God addressed Prophet Moses there, as a reflection of both His Grandeur as well as the greatness of Prophet Moses.
Why did this incident not take place in Midian, Al-Ayka, or another point on the route, instead of Mount Sinai?
This is where Prophet Moses was bestowed with the spiritual endowments that he would require when later facing the Pharaoh. Firavun'un karşısına çıkacağı zaman, manevî donanımını orada alıyor.
So it must be such an important place, since God has chosen to swear by it in the Qur'an.
These are in relation to the oath; however He mentions very crucial points after this.
These are only what I have been able to point out with my limited capabilities. Bakın, Kıtmîr, sadece kendi kabiliyetim ölçüsünde onlara küçük birer işarette bulundum.
If you all think deeply, you will be able draw out important things, with God's permission and favour. Sizler, derinlemesine düşündüğünüz zaman, çok şeyler çıkarabilirsiniz, Allah'ın izni-inayetiyle.
And then there is this 'Secure City,' Mecca. Bir de şu "Beled-i Emîn", Mekke.
'And this city (Mecca) secure' (At-Tin 95:3). "Ve bu emin beldeye (Mekke Şehri'ne) and olsun" (Tîn, 95:3).
It is said that 'Whoever enters it is in security (against attack and fear)' (Al Imran 3:97). "Kim oraya girerse, (taarruz ve korkudan) emin olur" (Âl-i Imrân, 3:97) deniyor:
Thus there is no war there. "Oraya giren, emindir" dolayısıyla orada savaş olmuyor.
If people came to assault and attack, then a 'defensive war' may occur. Ha, gelir, tecavüz ederler ise, saldırırlar ise, "tedâfuî savaşlar" olur.
As expressed in the book, 'The Eternal Message,' defensive warfare was permitted however other than that, it remained as the Secure City. "Ebedî Risalet" kitabında ifade edildiği gibi, tedâfuî savaşlar olabilir ama bunun dışında orası Beled-i Emîn'dir.
You do not meddle with those who seek refuge there. You embrace and protect them. Oraya sığınan insana ilişilmez, oraya gelen insanlara ilişilmez; onlar, bağra basılır ve korunur.
The 'Secure City.' "Beled-i Emîn" deniyor.
Consider also the Ka'ba. When the noble Adam was sent down and circumambulated it, when the noble Abraham circumambulated it; The respected angels Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, Azrael, the eight beings that bear God's Throne, those who are nearest to God Almighty, and other significant angelic beings may have said: Bir de Kâbe, Hazreti Âdem yeryüzüne indirilip orada tavaf ettiği zaman da, Hazreti İbrahim tavaf ettiğinde de, belki Cibrîl, Mikail, İsrafil, Azrail, Hamele-i Arş, Mukarrabîn, Kerûbiyyîn, Mühimmîn gibi melâike-i kirâm diyorlar ki:
'Before you walked around it, we had circumambulated the Ka'ba for many years'. In the words of Doctor Zaghlul, 'Geologically speaking, this is the area in which life was first permitted to flourish.' "Sen gelip burayı tavaf etmeden evvel, biz yıllarca, binlerce sene evvel burayı çend defa tavaf ettik" doktor Zağlûl'un ifadesiyle, "Jeolojik dönem itibarı ile yeryüzünde ilk defa yaşamaya müsait oluşan zemin, orası."
The ground wherein life was first permitted to flourish. İlk defa yaşamaya müsait bir zemin.
Who knows what other honours it holds. Kim bilir daha nelerin mazharı.
Our noble Prophet expresses, 'The first of creation was my holy light.'
And in regards to the commandments of creation, it may perhaps be the first mirror to God's gaze, a place of honour: Sonra tekvinî emirler veya kevnî hadiseler açısından da belki ilk defa nazar-ı İlahî'ye meclâ olan bir yer, mazhar olan bir yer:
The Ka'ba... Kâbe.
That is why the Prophet's twin; that is, in the womb of Divine Knowledge or Divine Wisdom- there are two great truths that ferment: Onun için Efendimiz'in tev'emi (ikizi); yani, İlm-i İlahî veya -ne diyelim- hikmet-i İlahiye rahm-i mâderinde -hikmet-i İlâhiye rahm-i mâderinde- mayalanan iki büyük hakikat var:
The first is the ontological truth of Ahmad (Prophet Muhammad) as the praiseworthy; the other is the truth of the Ka'ba.
Upon leaving Mecca he turned around and cried, 'I would not separate from you if they had not forced me.' Onun için Mekke'den ayrılırken de dönüp ağlamıştı; "Beni buradan uzaklaştırmasalardı, Ben, senden ayrılmayacaktım" demişti.
But the All-Truthful One showed him the road to Medina. Ama Cenâb-ı Hak, Medine yolunu göstermişti.
'Yathrib,' the centre of civilisation, would become 'Medina.' "Yesrib", medeniyet merkezi "Medine" olacaktı.
God willed for it. He sent the Messenger from a place of hundreds to one of thousands. Both are beloved. Allah, onu murad buyurmuş, "bin"in yerinden "yüz"ün yerine göndermişti O'nu; ikisine de can kurban.
The Secure City. Beled-i Emin.
And look at what it says, upon swearing on these four things: Sonra ne diyor, bakın; bu dört şeye kasem ettikten sonra.
God says 'I swear' on four things. Dört şeye Allah "Yemin olsun" diyor.
Then, follows with 'Surely We have created human of the best stature, as the perfect pattern of creation' (At-Tin, 95:4).
'Surely I have created human of the best stature as the perfect pattern of creation.' "Ahsen-i takvîme mazhar yarattım Ben insanı."
In a way, a human is just like a 'polished mirror', reflecting the Divine Essence. Bir yönüyle insan, âdetâ bir "mir'ât-ı mücellâ"dır, Zât-ı Ulûhiyeti aksettiren.
God, may He be glorified and exalted, manifests in that mirror. Allah (celle celâluhu) o aynada tecellî eder.
Hence, a human's heart is a manifestation of the All-Just God.
'The heart is a house of God, purify it of whatever there is other than Him, "Dil beyt-i Hudâ'dır, ânı pâk eyle sivâdan
So that the All-Merciful may descend into His palace at night.' Kasrına nüzûl eyleye, Rahman, gecelerde."
Since we refrain from such allegorical expressions, we say: Böyle müteşâbih ifadelerden kaçtığımızdan dolayı biz diyoruz ki:
The heart is a generosity of Divine manifestation. Gönül, tecelligâh-ı İlahîdir.
When God manifests on that mirror, it is as though one sees God there, it means that He is felt deep in the conscience with the same assurance that one knows that 2 + 2 = 4.
Man is such a polished mirror. İnsan, öyle bir mir'ât-ı mücellâ.
They have used that phrase profusely: Bu tabiri çok kullanmışlar:
Man is a polished mirror. İnsan, bir mir'ât-ı mücellâ.
'The entire universe is a Sublime Book of God, "Bir kitabullah-ı azâmdır serâser kâinat
No matter which letter you investigate, you will see its meaning is God.' Hangi harfi yoklasan manası hep Allah çıkar."
(R. M. Ekrem) (R. M. Ekrem)
But, whatever is displayed in that universe, it has been included in the form of an index inside a human being.
A human is a lens, a camera or a telescope, an observatory journal that can read the entire universe; it is such an entity.
In the aforementioned verse, God Almighty emphasises the importance of humans, it is as if He says: Cenâb-ı Hak, mezkûr ayette de insanın kıymetini vurguluyor ve adeta bir şey diyor burada:
'You were created with such faculties, appreciate your value.' "Bak, bu kıymette yaratılmışsın, kıymetini bil."
When you utilise your potential correctly, then just as the Archangel Gabriel says to our Prophet during the Ascension: Sen, donanımın içindeki o temel unsurları tam yerinde kullandığın zaman, tıpkı Hazreti Cebrail'in Efendimiz'e Miraç'ta dediği gibi:
'Go, tonight is your night,' will be said to you. "Yürü, top Senin, çevkân Senindir bu gece" denir sana da.
'If I take another step, I will burn; You go ahead,' he says. "Ben, bir adım daha atsam, yanarım; Sen yürü" diyor.
Our noble Prophet is a human with a heart and a body with physical capabilities, yet goes beyond one of the great angels.
Humankind is created with such capability. İşte insan, öyle bir donanımla yaratılmış bir varlık.
When commenting on humankind, God says 'Surely We have created man of the best stature, as the perfect pattern of creation', not just beautiful, but 'perfect', unparalleled.
Those who are involved with the physical and spiritual aspects of human biology will know this. Bunu, insanın maddî-manevî anatomisiyle ilgilenenler bilirler.
Though, there aren't many who are involved with the spiritual aspect.
Perhaps certain pedagogies and psychologists could show and interest, but such disciplines need to take it on board further. Hani Pedagoglar, Psikologlar meşgul olabilirler; fakat ele alınması lazım.
When the physical aspect is only considered, there are astounding details that are seen. Ama insanın "maddî anatomi"si bile ele alındığı zaman, baş döndürücü inceliklere hâiz bulunduğu görülür.
I am assuming, if an analysis was performed on the eye alone, many would be overwhelmed.
If an analysis is done on the ear- similarly they would be overwhelmed.
When all the aspects and characteristics of a human are considered. Ee bütün mahiyet-i insâniye nazar-ı itibara alındığı zaman.
We are discovering certain things just now. Bazı şeyleri yeni yeni öğreniyoruz.
For example, a reflex specialist, can do something by tickling one's feet, 'this section resonates to a certain part of the body, like a remote control for the body' etc. Mesela, refleksololji uzmanı, insanın ayaklarının altını gıdıklamak suretiyle bir şey yapıyor; "Burası, vücudun şu noktasına kumandada bulunuyor; burası, şu noktaya kumandada bulunuyor; burası, şu noktaya kumandada bulunuyor" falan diyor.
If human biology is analysed from head to toe, in composition, it is rather astounding. İnsanın "maddî anatomi"si tepeden tırnağa bir analize tâbi tutulduğu zaman, insanın başını döndürecek mahiyettedir.
God, may He be glorified and exalted, says this and at the same time, 'Act according to your status'.
I have created you both physically and spiritually in the best composition.
And consider the spiritual make up. Bir de manevî anatomiyi düşünün.
For example, in terms of one's spiritual faculties... Mesela, insanın sadece Latife-i Rabbâniye'sini, Sır'rını, Hafâ'sını, Ahfâ'sını düşünün.
Considering the conscience as well... Vicdanı, vicdan mekanizmasını düşünün.
One that analyses this, the experts, can analyse the other.
Through its physical and spiritual makeup, a human is so amazing that it is difficult not to fall in love with the aspects and characteristics of a person.
Now do you understand Süleyman Çelebi's words from earlier? Şimdi Süleyman Çelebi'nin biraz evvel geçen sözünü anlıyor musunuz?
God, may He be glorified and exalted, in effect is saying: Allah (celle celâluhu) adeta diyor ki:
'Humankind is a creation worthy of falling in love with.' "Bak, insan, âşık olunacak bir varlıktır."
A creation worthy of falling in love with. Âşık olunacak bir varlıktır.
The Divine Essence says: Zât-ı Ulûhiyet diyor:
'Surely We have created human of the best stature, as the perfect pattern of creation' (At-Tin, 95:4), which is followed by: "Muhakkak, Biz insanı en mükemmel donanım ve surette yarattık" Ama gel gör ki:
'Then We have reduced him to the lowest of the low' (At-Tin, 95:5). "Sonra da onu en aşağı derekeye düşürdük" (Tîn, 95:5).
'Again' it says there, 'again'. "Sümme" diyor orada; "Sümme".
When referring to concerns of the future, the words 'time', 'will' and 'again' are commonly used. İstikbale müteallik meseleleri ifade etmede, "Sin", "Sevfe" ve "Sümme" kullanılır.
'Again' is used last. Sümme, en sonra gelir.
'Again' it says there. "Sümme" diyor orada.
This means that we are given an opportunity. Demek ki insana bir fırsat veriliyor:
Fundamentally, it is like the stage of childhood. Bir çocukluk dönemi esasen.
In a way, it should be at a stage where the intellect is in use, the book of the Universe should be read and one must feel that they are reading it. Bir yönüyle, aklını kullanabilecek hâle gelmeli, kâinat kitabını okumalı; Kur'an'ın kainat kitabını okuduğunu duymalı.
We are in need of such a period. Böyle bir süreye ihtiyacı var.
In a way, God is not saying 'you have entered the earth, you are three years old, five years old, and so long as you do what I say, you will be punished.' Hemen birden bire Allah (celle celâluhu), "Sen dünyaya geldin, üç yaşındasın, beş yaşındasın; yapman gerekli olan şeyi yapmadığın takdirde okurum senin canına" demiyor.
Every letter in the Qur'an is a miracle. Her kelime mucize, Kur'an-ı Kerim'de.
And then to the lowest of the low. Sonra esfel-i sâfilîne baş aşağı.
Later, to push it into the depths of Hell.
Another verse from the Holy Qur'an states: Başka bir ayet-i kerimede şöyle buyuruluyor:
'Did We not grant you a life long enough for whoever would reflect and be mindful to reflect and be mindful? "Size, düşünüp ders alacak kimsenin düşünüp ders alacağı (ve gereğini yapacağı) kadar bir ömür vermedik mi?
'In addition, a warner came to you (to warn against this punishment). Taste then (the consequences of your heedlessness); for the wrongdoers have none to help them (against it)' (Al-Fatir, 35:37).
It says: 'Did we not bestow people with enough time to think and comprehend?' "Düşünebilecek insanların düşüneceği kadar onları muammer kılmadık mı?" diyor burada.
So, a person's life is long enough to acquire Paradise, to merit the acquisition of the beauty of and perfection of the Divine Essence. Demek ki insanın ömrü, hakikaten, Cennet'i peyleyecek kadar, Zât-ı Ulûhiyet'in cemâl-i bâ-kemâlini müşahede için -Aynı tabiri ("peyleme" tabirini) kullanmayacağım/kullanamayacağım, saygısızlık olur- kesb-i istihkak edecek kadar.
'We have given them time' "Biz ona mehiller verdik."
We neglected, we neglected, we neglected. İmhâl ettik, imhâl ettik, imhâl ettik:
'Look, fix your state a little,' "Bak, biraz daha halini düzelt.
Look at yourself in the perspective of the Pride of Humanity Biraz daha -esasen- Kur'an aynasında, Hazreti Rasûl-i Zîşân'ın beyanları aynasında kendine bak.
Stand before that mirror a couple of times a day. Günde birkaç defa o aynanın karşısına dikil, kendine bak.
Fix your tie, accordingly. Kravatını düzelt, ona göre.
Fix your collar. Yakalarını düzelt, ona göre.
Fix your hat. Külahını düzelt, ona göre.
Comb your hair. Saçlarını fırçala, ona göre.
Trim your beard and moustache. Sakalına-bıyığına bak, ona göre.
Remember to reflect on yourself and the Qur'an, the Prophetic Tradition and the ideas of the righteous Predecessors, a number of times a day. Günde birkaç defa Kur'an aynası, Sünnet-i Sahîha aynası ve selef-i sâlihînin ictihâd-ı sâfiyâneleri aynasında kendine bir kere daha bak.
Just as people make themselves presentable when facing a special audience, we need to do similar. Bir hey'et-i âliyenin karşısına çıkmak için, ehl-i dünya ayna karşısında kendilerine nasıl makyajlar ile, falanlar ile, filanlar ile bakım yapıyorlarsa, ha bizimki de o.
A believer must look at themselves like this, in the reflection of the Qur'an. Mü'min, kendisine öyle bakmalı; Kur'an aynasında bakmalı:
'Am I in a position to stand before God? "Allah karşısına çıkacak durumda mıyım?
If the Pride of Humanity requests, am in a position to stand before him? Şu anda Rasûl-i Zîşân temessül buyursa, ben, karşısına çıkacak durumda mıyım?
If Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali appear to you suddenly, will I be ready to welcome them? Bû-Bekr u Ömer u Osman u Ali temessül buyursalar, karşılarına çıkacak durumda mıyım?"
God keeps extending the time for you. Allah (celle celâluhu), mehil üstüne mehil veriyor:
And He does not leave you alone with your discussions, contemplations and reflections; in one sense, you might not be able to reach your destination using only these arguments.
Therefore, God warns you at the same time, by exciting you, a pure voice and breath that will awaken your conscience and hearts. Sizin içinizde heyecan uyaracak, vicdanınızı uyaracak, kalbinizi uyaracak tertemiz bir ses ve soluk ile Allah (celle celâluhu) aynı zamanda sizi ikaz buyuruyor.
In some Qur'anic Commentaries, they say: Bazı tefsirlerde diyorlar ki:
'Your hair turning grey is a warning.' "Bir insanın saçının-başının ağarması, o uyarıdır."
Getting old, having a beard and wrinkles appearing on the face are all hints for remembrance. Artık yaşlanınca, sakalı bitince, yüzünde buruşukluklar meydana gelince, onlar da hatırlatıcı birer unsur oluyor:
'This world is a strange traveller house, "Acib bir kârubân-hane bu dünya
Passer-by's rest and leave from here, Gelen gider konan göçer bu elden
No loyalty, no pleasure, a fleeting day-dream, Vefası yok sefası yok fani hülya
Passer-by's rest and leave from here, Gelen gider konan göçer bu elden."
(Imam of Alvar) (Alvarlı Efe Hazretleri)
'Do not be deluded by this deceitful world "Yalancı dünyaya aldanma yâhû
This association will disband and the council will close Bu dernek dağılır dîvân eğlenmez
This is a ruin with two doors İki kapılı bir virânedir bu
The arriving will depart and the visitors will not stay.' Bunda konan göçer, konuk eğlenmez."
(The Honourable Aziz Mahmud Hudai) (Hz. Aziz Mahmud Hüdâî)
The first is a quote from the Imam of Alvar and the second from Aziz Mahmud Hudai. Birincisi, Alvar İmamı Muhammed Lütfî Efendi'nin; ikincisi de Aziz Mahmud Hüdâî hazretlerinin.
We gave man a chance to use what he possesses materially and spiritually.
Delays, delays, delays and delays... İmhâl imhâl üstüne, imhâl imhâl üstüne.
What have we not laid down before him? Önüne neler serdik neler serdik.
We drew his attention in many ways and said: 'Be careful, read the right way.'
But the ones who neglected and did not read 'again', after a long time 'we threw them to the lowest rank'.
For this reason, humankind has a strange disposition and is created with a nature that is able to fluctuate between 'the best form and nature of mankind' and 'the lowest rank'. Bu açıdan insan, "A'lâ-i illiyyîn" ile "Esfel-i sâfilîn" arasında gel-gite müsait bir mahiyette yaratılmış, çok garip hilkatte bir varlıktır.
He will either escalate to 'the highest rank of human perfection' like the Noble Spirit of the Master of Humankind or descend to 'the lowest of the ranks' like Abu Jahl or Amenophis. Ya a'lâ-i illiyyîn-i kemâlâta çıkacak, Hazreti Rûh-u Seyyidi'l-Enâm gibi veya "Esfel-i sâfilîn"e sukût edecek Ebu Cehil gibi, Amnofis gibi.
To the lowest of the ranks. Esfel-i sâfilîne.
Would he even be like Saddam or Gaddafi?
'The one who has taken his lust and fancies for his deity' (Al-Jasiya, 45:23). "Hevâsını ilah edinen kimse" (Câsiye, 45:23).
He who has accepted his lust and desires as god. Hevâsını, kendi arzularını, kendi isteklerini ilah edindi.
He who started to worship himself. Kendisine tapar hale geldi.
He who thought he was immortal. Kendisine ölmez gibi baktı.
He who thought he would stay in the world eternally. Dünyada ebedî kalacak gibi baktı.
With the words of the spokesman of our age, 'He knowingly preferred this world over the next.' Çağın Sözcüsü'nün beyanı ile "Bilerek dünya hayatını âhiret hayatına tercih etti."
He preferred himself over witnessing God as the Divine Essence. Kendini görmeyi -hâşâ ve kellâ- Zât-ı Uluhiyeti müşahedeye tercih etti.
On one hand is such depravity, and on the other, attaining the highest of the high of human perfection. Bir, böylesine esfel-i sâfilîne sukût etme var; bir de a'lâ-ı illiyyîn-i kemâlâta yükselme durumu var.
Yes, let's go back. Evet, geriye dönelim:
The Believer can only truly interpret laws of creation by appreciating one's own value wherever one goes, by knowing how God has stationed and given one honour, by displaying what an excellent lens or scale one is, and correctly reading one's self.
And only then can one accurately understand the Qur'an, understand the realms beyond, and prepare accordingly.
Humans are created in such composition O mahiyette yaratılmış bir varlıktır insan.
Therefore, the Believer, when going to bed, when going about their day, must always keep this in mind. Öyleyse, mü'min, oturup-kalkarken, yatağına girerken, sürekli müzakere mevzuu, bu olmalı.
Some may lie and waste time with gossip. Birileri atıp tutabilir; güftügû ile, dedikodu ile vakit geçirebilir.
The word 'guft u gu' comes from Persian. Güftügû, Farsçadan gelen bir kelime.
And other words in Persian... Güft, gûyend, güften, gûyende.
Similarly other words in Arabic...
We use it in Turkish as well. But if we want to use pure Turkish, we can say, 'gossip'.
It is not right to pollute our environment, the places we live and spend time with such things, and things like arguing, slander, retaliating in like manner to persecution. Oturduğumuz-kalktığımız yerleri, o güzelim meclisleri, toplantıları bu türlü şeyler ile kirletme, tartışmalar ile kirletme, birilerini karalamak ile kirletme, mukabele-i bi'l-misil kâide-i zâlimânesi ile kirletme doğru değil.
For example if someone calls you a 'terrorist', to turn around and say, 'You are the terrorist!' "Terörist" dediler, "Terörist senin kendin" demek.
If they call you 'traitor', you respond with 'You are the traitor!' "Hâin" dediler, "Hâin senin kendin" demek.
One calls you a deviant sect; you retaliate with 'You are the deviant sect'. Kalktı bir kendini bilmez, "fırak-ı dâlle" dedi, "Fırak-ı dâllenin tâ kendisi, sensin" filan demek.
There is nothing one can gain with such retaliation. It is best to leave it to God. Bunlar ile insan, hiçbir şey kazanamaz; bütün bunları Allah'a havale etmek lazım.
We first hear it from Abdulqadr al-Jilani, and then later others: Abdulkadir Geylânî hazretlerinde ilk defa duyuluyor, daha sonra bazıları da o tabiri kullanıyorlar:
'As you know my state, there is no need for me to ask of anything from You.' "Senin, benim hâlimi bilmen, benim Senden bir şey istemenden müstağnî kılıyor."
And another one expresses it like this: Biri de nazmen ifade ediyor:
'My Lord knowing everything removes the need for me to seek anything from Him, and express my needs to Him'. "Rabbimin bilmesi, her şeyi bilmesi, beni O'ndan bir şey talep etmekten ve O'na ihtiyaç arz etmekten müstağnî kılıyor" diyor.
God, may He be glorified and exalted, sees; He sees all. Allah (celle celâluhu) görüyor, her şeyi görüyor.
He sees the dirty words coming out of those dirty mouths. O kirli ağızlardan akan levsiyâtı da görüyor.
He sees the people dirtying everywhere. Ortalığı zift kanalı haline getirenleri de görüyor.
If, by reason of them doing such, you respond in like, and copy their words, you will have dirtied your mouth, if you copy their glances and expressions, you will have dirtied your eyes, if you listen to the dirty words, you will have dirtied your ears. Onlar öyle dediler diye, "Ben de mukabele-i bi'l-misilde bulunayım" demek suretiyle, ağız ile yapacak olursan, ağzını kirletmiş olursun; bakışlarınla aynı şeyleri ifade edersen, gözlerini kirletmiş olursun; kulakların ile olmayacak şeyleri dinleyecek olursan, kulaklarını kirletmiş olursun.
Half of your brains neurons are already at sleep, and if you dirty the remaining, you will kill them as well.
After all, only half or a third are working.
If there are any neurologists among you, please excuse me. Nörologlar kusura bakmasınlar, varsa içinizde.
Yes, I believe it can be said that the great Messengers were able to use of all theirs. Evet, öyle deniyor; zannediyorum, Enbiyâ-ı ızâm, onun tamamını çalıştırmaya muvaffak kılınmış.
That is why Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır says in the exegesis of Surah Al-Baqarah: Onun için Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır, tefsirinin birinci cildinde, Bakara sure-i celîlesinde diyor ki:
'What great perspicacity and capability that even though their feet is on the earth, they connect with the realms beyond the heavens' "Bu ne müthiş bir fetânet ve ne müthiş kabiliyettir ki, ayakları arzda, yeryüzünde durduğu halde, gökler ötesi âlemlerle münasebete geçiyor."
Yes, a human... Evet, insan.
In the absolute sense- as Jili says- 'Man of Perfection' Mutlak manada -Cîlî'nin ifadesiyle- "İnsân-ı Kâmil".
A human has been created with the essence to attain such levels. İnsan, öyle bir noktaya ulaşmaya müsait mahiyette yaratılmış.
I think a human must not disrespect their nature. Bence kendi mahiyetine karşı saygısızlıkta bulunmamalı.
This is an insult, an insult against God's beautiful art, against the physical and spiritual anatomy. Hakaret sayılır; Allah'ın bu güzel sanatına karşı hakaret sayılır; maddî anatomisine karşı hakaret sayılır; manevî anatomisine karşı hakaret sayılır; bu sanat-ı İlâhiyeye karşı hakaret sayılır.
Now, imagine engaging in such an insult. Şimdi, böyle bir hakareti irtikâp eden.
As a side note: Burada antrparantez:
The Honourable Sage Bediüzzaman talks about an unbeliever, heretic and denier being sent to Hellfire forever and makes an important statement: Hazreti Pîr, kâfirin, mülhidin, münkirin ebedî Cehennem'de kalması mevzuunda bir hakikatten bahsediyor, bir anahtar beyan ortaya koyuyor:
Even though all the creative commands shout out His name. Kâinatta şu kadar tekvinî emirler, hep O'nu haykırdığı, hep O'nu ifade ettiği halde.
So many exhibitions displaying His art Öyle sergiler yapılmış ki, o sergilerden hangi kareye baksan, O'nu ifade ediyor.
If a human sees all of these and does not say, 'God' everything in the universe will be a witness against him. Bunca şeye baktığı halde, bir kimse hâlâ "Allah" diyemiyorsa, her şey, ondan davacı olur.
And in the face of so many complainants, thousands of years of Hellfire will be the punishment. Ee bunca şeyin davacı olması karşısında, onun binlerce sene Cehennem'de yanması icap eder.
The Honourable Sage says, 'For unbelief seeks to drag creation, something as valuable and exalted as a letter written by God, down to the depths of meaninglessness and purposelessness. It is an insult to all being, since it denies and rejects the manifestations and impresses of God's Sacred Names that are visible in all being, and it seeks to negate all the infinite proofs that demonstrate the veracity and truthfulness of God Almighty.
Hence, unbelief is a crime of infinite proportions, deserving of infinite punishment.' Nihayetsiz cinayet ise, nihayetsiz azabı îcab eder" diyor orada.
And I don't remember anyone else before him making such a statement.
Now, even though God has created humans in the best form and nature, He has not left you alone in the world. Şimdi, Allah (celle celâluhu) böyle ahsen-i takvîme mazhar yarattığı halde, aynı zamanda seni olduğun yerde de böyle yapayalnız bırakmamıştır.
In a way, Almighty God has marked the path to reach Him through the things that he has laid out in front of you, he has provided for you guidance and pointed you towards Himself.
He has marked the direction to Him and said, 'Turn this way'. Mihrabını işaretlemiş, "Oraya yönel" demiş.
If you only have the mihrab you may still go astray and lose your direction, so He has even placed an imam in front of you for guidance, and has said 'Look, follow this imam'.
Yes, the One Example for All, the Perfect Guide, the Monumental Figure of the Perfect Pattern of Creation, the Noble Spirit of the Master of Humankind. Evet, "Muktedâ-i Küll, Rehber-i Ekmel, Ahsen-i Takvîmin Âbide Şahsiyeti, Hazreti Rûh-u Seyyidi'l-Enâm.
May our lives be sacrificed for Him. Canımız O'na kurban olsun.
'How fortunate we are that we lean upon such a steady pillar.' "Ne mutlu bizlere ki, öyle sarsılmaz/yıkılmaz bir Sütuna dayalı bulunuyoruz."
Al-Busiri expresses this in The Eulogy of the Cloak: Bûsîrî, Kaside-i Bürde'sinde bunu ifade ediyor:
My Master... Efendim.
A monumental figure that would not budge even in a 10 magnitude earthquake. Richter ölçeğine göre on nispetinde zelzele olsa, devrilmeyecek bir âbide şahsiyet.
And you are situated behind this Imam. Ve siz o İmamın arkasında bulunuyorsunuz.
May God protect you all from the misery of leaving His congregation. Allah, O'nun arkasında bulunmama mahrumiyeti yaşatmasın size-bize.
No matter what calamities you face. No matter what they strike you across the head with, no matter what unimaginable torments they may put you through.
None of it matters. Bunların hiç birinin önemi yok.
We must always say, 'This is our way; this is our fate', and remain steadfast on His path, with God's beneficence. "Yol, bu; devran, bu" deyip hep o yolda yürümek lazım, Allah'ın inayeti ile.
In the poem 'Sakarya': Sakarya Şiiri'nde söylüyor:
'The way is his, existence is his, the rest is just a drudgery "Yol onun, varlık onun, gerisi hep angarya
You have long grovelled on your face, stand up, Sakarya.' Yüzüstü çok süründün, ayağa kalk, Sakarya."
In other words. Sana-bana hitap.
Essentially he says, 'Don't be dragged along towards others' directions, and don't be drowned in the cascade of external thoughts in pursuit of a target you do not know. Esasen, "Başkalarının güdümünde olma, başkalarının düşünce çağlayanları içinde bilemediğim bir hedefe doğru sürüklenme.
That is enough, stand up, be yourself; look to walk in the direction that you want to find yourself in the future.' Yeter yahu, ayağa kalk, kendin ol; hedeflediğin yere doğru iradî olarak yürümeye bak" demek, bu.
That is why our gatherings, deliberations, and work must always be in this direction.
You must do everything in a way that is fitting of a believer, in a way that will rid this world of any weeds and thorns, allowing the roses to flourish and the nightingales to warble.
'If a garden is not looked after, "Bir bağ ki, görmezse terbiye-tımar
it will become a thorn patch' Çalı-çırpı sarar; hâristan olur."
You must do whatever you can in order for this world not to become a thorn patch.
  Neden?
Because firstly, this world is a mirror that reflects Almighty God's Names. Çünkü bir kere, Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın Esmâsının aynaları.
Two: İki:
This world is the arable field for the Hereafter. Âhiretin mezraası.
Here you plant the seeds; there you are welcomed with the grain. Burada ekiyorsun, tohum saçıyorsun; orada o başaklar ile karşılaşıyorsun.
You plant the seedlings here, you live under the shadows of the Cypress trees; they become Cypress trees in the garden of Paradise. Burada fideler dikiyorsun, orada selvilerin gölgesinde yaşıyorsun; selvi oluyor, Cennet ağaçları haline geliyor.
On the other hand it is the corridor to the Hereafter. Bir diğer taraftan da âhiretin koridoru.
Then there is the perspective which looks at the fanciful inclinations and lusts of the human carnal soul which the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned: Bir de insanların hevâ-i nefsine bakan yanı var ki, o yanını da işaretleyen Allah Rasûlü (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem):
This world is a pile of filth, a carcass. Dünya, bir cîfe, bir pislik yığınıdır.
Those who constantly chase it, those who say, 'homes', 'fleets', 'villas', 'acclaim', 'applause', those who say, 'worldly pleasures' are the 'dogs' running after this filthy carcass. Sürekli onun arkasından koşturanlar, "Ev-bark" diyenler, "Filo" diyenler, "Villa" diyenler, "Takdir" diyenler, "Alkış" diyenler, "Dünyevî hasene" diyenler o cifeye koşan "kilâb"dır.
This is what they're called. Böyle deniyor.
I'm not describing the singular of this word; if you do not understand the meaning of the plural, you may ask those who know Arabic, they will tell you. Tekilini söylemiyorum bunun; eğer çoğulu ile manasını anlamıyorsanız, Arapça bilenlere sorarsınız, "Bu, neyin çoğulu?" diye; söylerler size.
The Messenger of God, with the language of kindness, would always speak good; all of his speech is like the singing of a nightingale. Allah Rasûlü, lisân-ı nezîhi ile, hep güzel şey konuşuyor; O'nun bütün konuşmaları bülbül şakıması.
But if he wasn't to speak in that manner here, then it would be in opposition to the requirements of the explicit meaning. Fakat burada böyle demese, muktezâ-i zâhire muhalif düşer.
You know how they say, 'the requirements of context' in the study of rhetoric; there is also 'the requirements of the explicit meaning'. Hani, Belagat ilminde bir "muktezâ-i hâl" var, bir de "muktezâ-i zâhir" var.
If you did not say it in the way it was mentioned just before, whatever you choose to say would not be able to fully express the meaning of what you wish to articulate. Az önce zikredildiği gibi demezseniz, dediğiniz şey esas ifade etmek istediğiniz şeyi tam ifade etmez.
Here is the Messenger of God's, peace and blessings be upon him, language of kindness doing the same thing.
If our noble Prophet describes the matter in this way, then it must be extremely important.
He states that this world is a pile of filth and those who run after the world are 'dogs' from the world's perspective, from the aspect of the fanciful inclinations and lusts of the human carnal soul, from a state of heedlessness, ambition, hatred, grudge, rancour, defamation of others, in the words of Imam al-Ghazali 'perdition', may God protect us from it. Dünyanın dünya cihetiyle, insanın hevâ-i nefsine bakan yanıyla, cismâniyetine bakan yanıyla, bohemliğine bakan yanıyla, hırsına, kinine, nefretine, gayzına, başkalarını karalamaya, -İmam Gazzâlî hazretlerinin ifadesiyle- "Mühlikât"a (helak edici faktörlere, hafizanallah) bakan yanıyla "Dünya pislik yığınıdır ve onun arkasından koşanlar da kilâbdır" buyuruyor.
We should not fall into such an error. O duruma düşmemek lazım.
And you haven't fallen in to such an error with God's leave. Düşmemişsiniz Allah'ın izni-inayeti ile.
Only Almighty God knows how you have utilised and made use of the bounties that he has bestowed upon you and everyone is not the same and will be judged differently from one another.
Some people will grow that seed into a sprout; others into an ear of grain; maybe others into ten ears of grains; with God's leave it is within the realms of possibility that one can grow them into one hundred ears of grain.
If Almighty God has bestowed you and I with these resources, then we should not worry about what people would think or say on this matter, not to pollute our language, our vision of thinking, our gatherings, our main goal should be to always keep it like a place of worship.
Like a place of worship... Mâbed gibi.
Just as we shouldn't utter negative things in these places. Nasıl oralarda olumsuz şeyler konuşulmaz.
We should also remember God there. Oralarda Allah zikredilir.
We should present our servanthood there. Allah'a kullukta bulunulur.
Girded ready for worship we should act only in worship, servanthood, and ultimate devotion. Kemerbeste-i ubudiyet içinde "ibadet", "ubudiyet" ve "ubûdet" icrâ edilir.
We should double over in His presence. İki büklüm olunur, Allah karşısında.
We should be in prostration, our closest state to God Almighty. Secdeye varılır, Allah'a en yakın hâle gelinir.
In my opinion all of our gatherings should be like a place of worship. Bence bütün meclislerimiz, birer mâbed gibi olmalı.
We should always voice beautiful things there. Hep oralarda güzel şeyler seslendirilmeli.
Like the comforting music of a ney, or the sounds of the Saba style that acts likes a warning of heedlessness, everything should be voiced in such a mode in such places and this should be a catalyst for our growth.
But these can only happen with discernment, perspicacity, and most importantly His beneficence.
'My Lord. "Allah'ım.
Grant us high discernment and boundless perspicacity. Bize yüksek bir basiret, engin bir fetânet lütfeyle.
Protect us from slipping, deviating, and the negative consequences of different things.' Bizi kaymaktan, sapmaktan, değişik şeylerin olumsuz delâletlerinden muhafaza buyur."
It said this on the electronic display in the room and so I read it. Elektronik levha dedi, ben de onu söyledim.
And also, the verse I mentioned at the beginning also came up on the screen now: Başta dediğim ayet de -şimdi levhada- çıktı:
'Be straight and steadfast as God orders you to.' For if you remain straight and steadfast, the aura around you will also become straight and steadfast, just like it did for the Prophet. "Allah'ın emrettiği gibi dosdoğru ol" dosdoğru olursanız, etrafınızda dosdoğru hâleler oluşur; dosdoğru olursanız, O'nun (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) etrafında oluştuğu gibi, dosdoğru hâleler oluşur.
Like the brightness that surrounds the moon. Kamerin etrafındaki aydınlık gibi.
May God Almighty allow us to live in that manner. Cenâb-ı Hak, öyle olmaya muvaffak kılsın.
Amen. Âmin.
