The Physical and Spiritual Family of the Prophet

Appreciation of People and Protecting Sincerity

All praises and glorification to Him for our situation. Olduğumuza da hamd ü senâ olsun.
What if we had plunged into the mire of the world and were led astray?
What if all we did was tainting and drying the beauty around us? Etrafı çölleştirmeye doğru aksaydık, ne olurdu halimiz?
Many thanks that we were raised in an environment open to belief.
Even if we were mimicking belief, we still managed to taste and gain nourishment from it until today. Taklidî bile olsa bize imanı yudumlattılar, yudumladık; onun ile beslendik, varlığımızı bugüne kadar devam ettirdik.
Now our duty is to elevate our faith by adding steps to it: journeying towards God, journeying with God and journeying from God. Bundan sonra bize düşen, yeni kanatlar ilave ederek, "seyr ilallah", "seyr ma'allah", "seyr anillah" ufkunda ona seyahatler yaptırtmak.
Continuously embarking on these journeys, each unique in their own way. Biri diğerine benzemeyen, biri diğerinin üstünde olan sürekli seyirler yaptırtmak.
One way of achieving this is through a struggle and effort to the ultimate degree.
Struggle and effort to the ultimate degree... Ölesiye bir cehd ve gayret...
Displaying total commitment in manners and behaviour.
The tongue and the lips should strive to convey the excitement of the heart.
Using the tongue and the lips as an interpreter for the heart... Yani, dili-dudağı -esas- kalbin heyecanlarına tercüman yapmak.
Even when committing a lapse, questioning oneself by saying, 'God will hold me accountable: Hatta biraz aşağıya düştüğü zaman, kalbin itirazı karşısında "Allah, bunu bana sorar:
Why haven't you conveyed the message of your heart?' Ne diye tam kalbinin dilini seslendirmedin?" filan diye kendini sorgulamak...
To have such lips and a tongue that the heart doesn't need to raise its voice anymore. Öyle dil-dudak olmalı ki, bir yönüyle, kalb, onun yanında kuyruğunu kısmalı, susmalı, pusmalı, sesini çıkarmamalı; "Beni geçti bunlar" demeli.
For example, this can be seen when human beings become superior to the angels. Örneği, insanın melekleri geçmesinde aranabilir.
The Pride of Humanity, peace and blessings be upon him, surpassed Gabriel during the Ascension. İnsanlığın İftihar Tablosu (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem), Miraç'ta Hazreti Cebrâil'i geçti.
Even though Gabriel was created from light. Oysaki o, nurdan yaratılmıştı.
The Pride of Humanity was created from a drop of water, he had mortality in his nature but he surpassed all these worldly faculties to the extent where Gabriel looked at him and said: İnsanlığın İftihar Tablosu ise, bir damla sudan yaratılmıştı; tabiatında beşerîlik vardı ama onları öyle aşmış, öyle geçmiş ve öyle bir noktaya ulaşmıştı ki, Cibrîl, arkadan O'na bakarak, O'nun yürüyüşüne bakarak, o reftâre yürüyüşe hayranlık içinde,
'Go, tonight is your night. "Yürü. Top Senin, çevkan Senindir bu gece" demişti.
This expression belongs to Süleyman Çelebi: Bu ifade de Süleyman Çelebi'ye ait:
'Go. "Yürü.
Tonight is your night.' Top Senin, çevkan Senindir bu gece."
That night, he witnessed Almighty God Himself with the mirror of his profound conscience; Qadi Iyad ibn Musa, the prominent scholar of North Africa and Al-Andalus, insistently emphasised this.
May Almighty God allow you to pass away from this world with faith.
There is the promise that you will see Him, may He be glorified and exalted, in the Hereafter.
However, everyone shall be honoured with witnessing God and the true realities of existence in line with the mirror of their own spirit; whatever the degree of honour they have, nevertheless they will be overwhelmed and faint.
They will forget about Paradise, the way to their home, the mansions of Paradise. Cennet'i unutacak, evinin yolunu, o Cennet'in köşklerini unutacak.
The mansions of this world do not compare to those mansions; they will carry you away; they are mansions of such degree that they will overwhelm even the great Messengers. Onlar, öyle dünyadaki kara saraylara, pembe saraylara, turuncu saraylara benzemez; başınızı döndürür orada; onlar enbiyâ-ı ızâmın bile başını döndürecek şekildedir.
However, when you witness His Beauty and Perfection, you will forget the path to your mansion. Fakat O'nun cemâl-i bâ-kemâlini müşahede ettiğiniz zaman, sarayın yolunu unutacaksınız.
You will forget the cries of your beautiful partners. Hûrilerin çığlıklarını unutacaksınız.
You will forget those who have come to Paradise before you, 'The children of Eternity'. Öbür tarafa sizden evvel göç etmiş, "Ebedîliğe ermiş çocuklar" tabir edilen Cennet çocuklarını unutacaksınız.
In the words of Bediüzzaman, God Almighty will still put those children into your arms in order to not deprive you of that love; however, when you see Him you will forget the cries of those children there, you will faint.
Again, let us express the matter with a quotation from Bad' al-Amali: Yine, Bed'ü'l-Emâlî'nin sözüyle meseleyi ifade edelim:
'Muslims will see Him in pure form'. "Mü'minler, O'nu keyfiyetsiz ve kemmiyetsiz olarak görürler.
No analogy can be brought to explain this. Buna bir misal de getirilemez.
And when they do see Him, they will forget all of the blessings and pleasures of Paradise. O'nu gördükleri zaman da bütün Cennet nimetlerini unuturlar.
May frustration be upon those Mutazilites who claim God cannot be seen' (Al-Ushi, Bad' al-Amali, pp. 50-54). 'Allah görülmez' diyen Ehl-i İ'tizâl'e hüsran olsun." (el-Ûşî, Bed'ü'l-emâlî sayfa 50-54).
When you see Him, you will forget it all: all the offerings of Paradise; the ostentation, the splendor... O'nu (celle celâluhu) görünce onları unutacaksınız, Cennet'in bütün nimetlerini, şatafatını, ihtişamını, hezâfirini...
What is the worldly life in comparison? Dünya ne oluyor ki?
Maybe if they ask you at that moment: Belki o esnada size sorsalar:
'What about the world?', you will reply, "Dünya diye bir şey?"
'Was there ever such a thing?' "Yahu öyle bir şey var mıydı?" diyeceksiniz.
As it is stated in the Qur'an: Hani, Kur'an-ı Kerim'de de diyor:
(God) says: 'For how many years did you stay on earth?' (Al-Mu'minun, 23:112). "Yeryüzünde yıl hesabıyla ne kadar kaldınız?" (Mü'minûn, 23:112).
How long have you lived on earth? Ne kadar yaşadınız?
They say: 'We stayed for a day or part of a day. "Bir gün veya günün sadece bir kısmında kaldık.
Ask of those who are able to keep count of this' (Al-Mu'minun 23:113).
'We stayed for a day or part of a day. "Belki bir gün, belki bir günden de az.
However, you should still ask someone who may have knowledge', meaning that even they doubt the fact that they were there for half a day.
While also observing the Beauty and Perfection of the All-Just God and hearing, 'I am pleased with you' from the frequency of the Divine manifestation.
You will observe His Beauty and Perfectness, O'nun cemâl-i bâ-kemâlini müşahede edeceksiniz;
and hear the Divine speech: 'I am pleased with you'. bir de "Ben, sizden razıyım."
You will feel the pleasure all the way to your bones and ask, 'Was there such a thing like the world?' you will forget about it completely.
If asked, you will not be able to remember the house in which you grew up. Sorsalar, kendi doğup büyüdüğünüz evi, resmedemeyeceksiniz.
That's how it is, that is what you are after, with God's consent. Öyle... İşte ona talipsiniz, onun arkasından koşuyorsunuz, Allah'ın izniyle.
But you are not making that your main objective, because according to your main objective, that is a drop in the ocean, an atom in the sun.
Essentially, it is 'He', may He be glorified and exalted. Esası, O (celle celâluhu), Hüve...
What is described here with 'He' is something infinite, unrestricted, absolute. Hüve ile ifade edilen o ıtlakın ifade ettiği Şey,
The reality that cannot be comprehended totally. o ihata edilmez Şey...
May God Almighty distinguish us with His grace. Cenâb-ı Hak, lütfuyla serfirâz kılsın.
May He not confine us with our deficiencies. Bizi, kendi boşluklarımızın mahkumu etmesin.
I say the following, with your leave: Şunu diyordum, müsaadenizle:
On one side, constantly striving after those exalted things with our attitude and actions, Bir taraftan tavır ve davranışlarımız ile hep o ulvî şeylerin peşinde olmak...
and on the other side, to be in constant recitation of Him, keep on saying... (wird zaban) Bir taraftan da dilimiz ile onu "vird-i zebân etmek", "dile dolamak".
The word (zaban) is a Persian word, meaning 'tongue'. Bu "zebân" kelimesi Farsça "dil" demek.
In Turkish, we use 'dil' but it also means 'heart'. Biz "dil" diyoruz, dil de "kalb" demektir.
'Wird' means 'litany that is repeated each day'. An Arabic word... "Vird" tekrar demek, o da Arapça;
They also borrowed this word to express the repetition. onlar da almışlar onu, "tekrar etme" demek.
'To wrap around your tongue', this is a Turkish phrase. "Dile dolamak" Türkçemizde vardır.
This means to constantly repeat the same things. Dile dolamak; aynı şeyi durmadan ve her yerde sürekli tekrarlamak.
We must be in constant remembrance of Him. Oturup kalkıp hep O'nu (celle celâluhu) dile dolamak lazım.
Now, how shall I remember Him? Şimdi nasıl diyeyim?
Sometimes it comes to mind: 'O God! O the One! O my Lord!' You say these but you yearn to say even more. Bazen insanın aklına geliyor.
'What else could I say?' you wonder, 'How can I better address Him? "Yahu daha nasıl/ne diyeyim ben?
I better mention the All-Beautiful Names of God. En iyisi Esmâ-i Hüsnâ'yı sayayım.
'In the Name of God, the All-Merciful, the All-Compassionate. The Master of the Day of Judgement. O God! O The All-Independent! O The All-Living! O The Self-Subsisting! O The All-Judging! O The All-Just! O The All-Holy and All-Pure!'
'What else could I say?' "Yahu daha ne desem ki?" filan...
Not to sacrifice the essentials meanings because of familiarity and habituation, Meseleyi ülfete ve ünsiyete fedâ etmemek için, tâbir-i diğerle meseleyi ülfet ve ünsiyete emanet etmemek için,
to strive to say even more, constantly turning to God with new considerations. sürekli yeni yeni mülahazalarla, teveccüh mülahazaları ile O'na yönelme.
To make every submission towards God feel as though it is our first and most sincere submission to Him, Her yönelişi âdetâ yepyeni, mebdeden bir yöneliş şeklinde, O'na doğru yapma...
and to constantly be unsatisfied with these. Bunlar ile yetinmeme esasen.
You may begin to have lofty feelings; Bir şeyler duyarsın, bir şeyler hissedersin;
your heart opens up to new realms, kalbinde bir kısım inkişaflara şahit olursun,
you start experiencing unique things that others probably do not experience. âlemin duymadığı, görmediği, etmediği şeylere muttali olmaya başlarsın.
But the more you are elevated to higher realms like a heavenly dove, the more humble you become and come down to earth like raindrops. Fakat böyle hep üveyikler gibi kanat açıp yukarılara doğru uçtukça, yağmur damlaları gibi, tekrar tevazu, mahviyet ve hacalet içinde toprağın bağrına dönersin.
'Be like the earth so that roses may grow in you. For nothing other than soil can nurture a rose.' "Toprak ol toprak ki, gül bitsin; zira topraktan başkası güle mazhar olamaz."
Be like earth so that roses may grow in you. Toprak ol toprak ki, gül bitiresin.
The sign of your greatness is to annihilate yourself through modesty and humility. Senin büyüklüğünün alameti, kendini mahviyet ve tevazu içinde sıfırlamandır.
If you are constantly annihilating your ego with your thoughts and emotions, then you amount to something.
If you don't have the inclination for self-nullification, you are nothing, 'nothing'. Kendini sıfırlama mülahazası hâkim değilse sana, sen -Sana demiyorum; yani, ey insan-ı meçhul, sen- bir "hiç"sin, hiçsin...
Having modesty, humility and self-nullification is inversely proportional to one's level of greatness. Impotence, Poverty, Enthusiasm and Thankfulness... Evet, yüksekliği ile makûsen mütenasip (ters orantılı) kendini mahviyet, tevazu ve hacalet içinde, "acz u fakr, şevk u şükür" içinde duymak...
Going beyond these and abandoning your soul completely as part of your spiritual journey... Hani onun daha ötesinde seyr-i sülûkta "nefsini terk edip bütün bütün unutmak."
When faith was strong and religion was practiced properly, people followed these principles in order to attain knowledge and insight. Bir dönemde "iman" olduğundan, "İslam" olduğundan, insanlar "îkân mevzuunda, iz'an mevzuunda daha derinliklere çağrılma istikametinde öyle demişler.
Since Bediüzzaman was responsible with the task of analysing and reconstructing the ideas and people of his age, he spoke of what was most necessary for this time.
'On the Naqshbandi path, one must abandon four things: "Der tarîk-i Nakşibendî lâzım âmed çâr terk:
The world, the Hereafter, existence and abandoning the thought of abandoning.' Terk-i dünya, terk-i ukbâ, terk-i hestî, terk-i terk."
'On the Naqshbandi path, one must abandon four things: "Bizim yolumuzda (Nakşibendî yolunda) dört şeyi terk etmek bir esastır:
Renouncing the world, the Hereafter, the carnal soul and forgetting that you have abandoned them.' Dünyayı terk etmek, ukbâyı terk etmek, nefsi terk etmek, terk ettiğini de terk etmek, unutmak. "
Renouncing the world: Terk-i Dünya:
Completely abandoning the world in the heart, not in practice. Herhalde Hazret'in ölçülerine vurduğumuz zaman, dünyayı kesben değil, kalben terk etmek lâzımdır.
Enough to say, 'It came yesterday, left today. Was it really here or not, what do I care?', "Dün geldi, bugün ayrıldı gitti; var mıydı, yok muydu, bana ne yahu" diyecek kadar...
and not to gaze longingly after it. Arkasından bakmamak.
Not to shed tears for it. Gözyaşı dökmemek.
Not to be alarmed by, 'Oh what if I lose!' "Aman kaybederim" endişesine kapılmamak...
Those who are distressed like this will lose while on the cusp of victory. O endişeye kapılanlar, kazanma kuşağında kaybediyorlar.
They are unaware that they are losing; Farkında değiller, kaybediyorlar;
they are relying relentlessly on a well of loss, diving in head-first. her gün bir kere daha çok farklı bir kayıp kuyusuna yüzüstü abanıyorlar veya tepetaklak gidiyorlar.
Abandoning the world. Dünyayı terk...
Abandoning the Hereafter. Terk-i Ukbâ; ukbâyı da terk.
Because beyond the Hereafter, there is the Divine Beauty, the good pleasure of God, dining alongside the blessed Prophets and saints.
In a way, you will cease to remember the Hereafter when you acquire these.
In Paradise, you are going to be given a marquee to sit in; Seni alıp Cennet'te bir yere "Otağın burası" deyip oturtacaklar;
but you are going to be oblivious to it. oturacaksın oraya ama görmeyecek gözün onu.
Just like that, you will renounce the Hereafter. Ukbâyı da öyle terk edeceksin.
Abandoning the world, abandoning the Hereafter. Terk-i dünya, terk-i ukbâ...
Renouncing one's existence. Terk-i Hestî:
You are going to abandon yourself; you are going to nullify yourself. Kendini terk edeceksin; sen, kendini de sıfırlayacaksın.
You are going to place a line over yourself; Bir çarpı çekeceksin kendi üzerine;
this is the way to reach Him. O'na ulaşmanın yolu, bu.
'You do not manifest Yourself while I appear on the screen; "Sen tecelli eylemezsin perdede ben var iken
My non-existence is the condition for Your appearance!' (Ghawthi) Şart-ı izhar-ı vücudundur adîm olmak bana." (Gavsî)
If I constantly appear on the screen, on the stage, my Lord, You do not manifest Yourself. Hep ben perdede görünüyorsam, sahnede görünüyorsam, ey Allah'ım, Sen tecelli eylemezsin.
For Your presence is tied to my absence. Zira Senin tecellin, benim yokluğuma vabestedir.
I must disappear for the truth of 'There is no no deity but God,' to unveil. Ben silinmeliyim ki, o zaman, لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ hakikati tecelli etsin.
Whatever I do... Ne yaparsam yapayım...
'I was at Badr. "Bedir yaptım,
I turned defeat to victory at Uhud. Uhud'da hezimeti zafere çevirdim,
I did so and so at Yarmouk.' Yermuk'ta bilmem ne yaptım."
Enough to forget all of these. Bunları unutacak kadar...
To say, 'Did I do something like this or not?' "Böyle bir şey yaptım mı, yapmadım mı?"
You must forget like the respected Khalid ibn al-Walid. Unutacaksın Hazreti Halid gibi.
I think if you asked him, he was like a hammer that struck upon the Persians and Romans, Zannediyorum ona sorsaydınız, Perslerin tepesine balyoz gibi, Romalıların tepesine balyoz gibi...
'What have you done?', "Sen ne yaptın?"
he would say, 'By God, I am not aware of anything that I have done.' "Vallahi ben bir şey yaptığımın farkında değilim.
There is only one thing that I have done that I am still crushed by: Sadece yaptığım bir şey var ki, onun ezikliği altında hâlâ eziliyorum:
I saw the people who forgot their responsibilities on the archer's hill and left their posts, and attacked the Prophet's army from behind. Okçular tepesinde, vazife ve sorumluluğunu unutan insanların oradan ayrılmalarını ganimet bilerek, Peygamber ordusuna arkadan hücum ettim.
This is what remains in my mind.' Aklımda kalan bu."
A mistake made sixty years ago; Altmış sene evvel işlediğim bir hata;
when it comes to mind, to feel like one has committed a major sin... aklıma yeniden gelince, zina etmiş gibi...
'I regret and repent for my sins, and ask God thousands, millions of times to pardon me.' "Günahlarımdan tevbe ve nedamet edip Allah'tan binlerce, milyonlarca defa bağışlamasını diliyorum."
It seems to me that if there is one thing that the like of the respected Khalid and Abu Sufyan could not forget, it would be, I will call it 'errors', that they committed during the Period of Ignorance; when ignorance was prevalent, and I shy away from relating to them as ignorant.
When those errors come to their minds, to say in a Prophet Adam-like manner, O zelleler, akıllarına geldiği zaman, Hazreti Âdem-vâri,
'Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves, "Zulmettik nefsimize yâ Rab.
and if You do not forgive us and do not have mercy on us, we will surely be among those who have lost!' (Al-A'raf, 7:23). Eğer Sen yarlığamaz, merhamet buyurmazsan, biz, kaybedenlerden, tepetaklak hüsrana gömülenlerden oluruz" (A'râf, 7:23).
'Our Lord, take us not to task if we forget or make mistakes,' (Al-Baqarah, 2:286). "Unuttuk veya hata ettikse, bundan dolayı bizi muaheze etme" (Bakara, 2:286) diyorlardı.
Those who frame their lives around Divine inspirations annihilate themselves as so. Hayatını İlahî varidât çerçevesinde götürenler, kendilerini böyle sıfırlarlar.
When you are removed from yourself, you will become like a transparent mirror.
A friend of God says, Onun için Hak dostu,
'Purify your mirror of perception of whatever is other than Him; "Âyine-i idrakini pâk eyle sivâdan
Be ashamed of any filth, for the Sultan does not come to a dirty house. Sultan mı gelir hâne-i nâ-pâke, hicâb et" diyor.
The heart is the sacred house of God; purify it from whatever is other than Him; "Dil beyt-i Hudâ'dır, anı pâk eyle sivâdan
So that the All-Merciful may descend into His palace at night.' Kasrına nüzûl eyleye Rahmân, gecelerde" diyor.
Yes, when the heart attains the state of 'a polished mirror', which is the extent of its capacity, one will be able to hear and sense God. Evet, kalb, öyle bir mir'ât-ı mücellâ haline gelince, o kalbinin vüs'ati, istiap haddi ölçüsünde O'nu duyarsın, O'nu hissedersin.
However, for such senses and experiences to be acknowledged one must be humble.
God showers you, abundantly, with Divine favours, you must reciprocate at such a level by being modest.
'To become more like soil, further, to become something below or within soil,' with such an attitude worlds can be conquered, like the conquest of Istanbul by the respected commander, honourable Mehmed the Conqueror. "Bana biraz daha toprak olmak, toprağın altında bir şey olmak, toprağın derinliğinde bir şey olmak, bir şey olmak, bir şey olmak..." El-ayak hareketlerin ile, dil-dudak hareketlerin ile cihanlar fethediliyor, Hazreti Fatih'in İstanbul'u fethi gibi.
Yet, when all these come to mind, it should be perceived as 'coming from God'; Fakat bütün bunlar aklına geldiği zaman, "Hepsi Allah'tan" sözü ile meseleyi taçlandıracaksın;
never claiming recognition for it or attributing it to oneself. onlara katiyen sahip çıkmayacaksın, katiyen.
One must say: 'There is beauty here; it is smiling at my face; as though caused by me, yet according to causality, it cannot be my work, it can only be attributed to the Creator'. "Var bir güzellik ortada; tebessüm ediyor benim çehreme; sanki benim davranışlarımdan dökülmüş gibi ama tenâsüb-ü illiyet (kozalite) mülahazasına göre, tenâsüb-ü illiyet prensibine göre, belli ki bunlar, benim eserim olamaz, belli ki Sahibinin eseri" diyeceksin.
Those that do not perceive this as such, without realising, even when they mention 'religion or Islam', fall in and out of polytheism; constantly marching in the swamp of associationism. Meseleye böyle bakmayanlar, farkına varmadan "Din, İslam" dedikleri zaman bile, şirk bataklığında bata-çıka yürüyorlar demektir; şirk bataklığında bata-çıka yürüyorlar demektir.
However, while being subjected to this downfall, they say, 'Within a month, things will be better, I will improve'. Fakat, bunlar batarken bile "Bir ay sonra her şey düzelecek.
In a week, it will better. Bir hafta sonra her şey düzelecek.
In two months things will be sorted out. İki ay sonra her şey düzelecek.
In three months, it will be better', they say. Üç ay sonra her şey düzelecek" derler.
If anything could be said to them, as much as my manners allow me, I would say, or rather, overstepping my manners, I would say to them that they are nothing but empty words and sounds. Bunlara dense dense, terbiyem müsait olsa, şöyle derim... Ama burada terbiyenin müsaadesizliğini bozacağım; bunlara dense dense, "dırıltı" denir.
So what is unlike these empty words and sounds? Evet, ne "dırıltı" değildir?
When under such inspiration, when blessings are abounded and great things happen, where everything seems clear, to be able to say, 'It is all from God'. Böyle ilham sağanağı altında, varidât sağanağı altında bulunduğun zaman bile, her şeyi ayân-beyân gördüğün zaman bile, "Hepsi Allah'tan."
If one has the power to shape the world with the gesture of a hand or a simple command, they should be able to very comfortably say, 'Everything is from God'.
'Everything comes from the Lord.' "Her şey, Allah'tan."
'Everything is from You, You are the Self Sufficient, "Her şey Sen'den, Sen ganisin
My Lord, I have turned to You!' Rabb'im Sana döndüm yüzüm.
You are the First and the Last, Hem evvelsin hem âhirsin
My Lord, I have turned to You!' Rabb'im Sana döndüm yüzüm."
Indeed this needs to be the constant recitation. İşte vird-i zebân, bu.
Even if you are attacked with hammers and spears, even if you are tortured every day, your eye must always be on Him, may He be glorified and exalted, always on Him, always on Him. Balyozlar senin başına inip-kalksa, mızraklar sinene saplansa, her gün bir yara ile -muktezâ-ı tabiat- inlesen, yine de gözün hep O'nda (celle celâluhu) olmalı, hep O'nda olmalı, hep O'nda olmalı...
There are good things you are doing, may the Almighty God allow you to be successful in these endeavours. Yaptığınız güzel işler vardır, Cenâb-ı Hak, onları devam ettirmeye muvaffak kılsın.
There is good within it. Güzel bir şey vardır.
However, what is better than that goodness is being part of a constant in a righteous circle of good.
If beauty reaches a place and mixes into something vile, that cannot be called beauty. Güzellik, bir yerde gidip çirkinliğe aborda oluyorsa, o güzele "güzel" denmez.
Beauty is such that it brings about beauty, that brings about beauty; Güzel odur ki güzel doğurur, o da güzel doğurur, o da güzel doğurur;
a prosperous cycle of beauty is formed. bir "güzel doğurma sâlih dairesi, doğurgan döngüsü" ortaya konur.
The Sage Bediüzzaman brings attention to an important aspect on the preservation of providence and sincerity: Hazreti Bediüzzaman, insanların takdiri ve ihlâsın muhafazası konusunda çok önemli bir hususa dikkat çekiyor:
If you desire the approval of people, and that is the cause behind a deed for the afterlife, that deed becomes void. "İnsanların takdiri/istihsânı, eğer böyle işte, böyle amel-i uhrevîde "illet" ise, o ameli iptal eder.
If it is a deciding factor in that deed occurring, its sincerity is broken. Eğer "müreccih" ise, o ameldeki ihlâsı kırar.
If it encourages the approval of others, it will dispel the purity of the deed. Eğer müşevvik ise saffetini izâle eder.
If God Almighty merely grants this as a sign of acceptance, and not upon our demand, it is good to accept it for the sake of the good impression of the deeds and knowledge on people.
'And grant me a most true and virtuous renown among posterity' (Ash-Shuara, 26:84) points out this.
If you desire the approval of people, and it is the cause behind a deed for the afterlife, that deed becomes void. "İnsanların takdiri/istihsânı, eğer böyle işte, böyle amel-i uhrevîde illet ise, o ameli iptal eder."
The appreciation and approval of people... (takdir and istihsan) İnsanların takdir ve istihsânı...
'Takdir' is used in Turkish, as you know, meaning 'appreciation'. "Takdir" bildiğiniz gibi, Türkçemizde de kullanılıyor;
'İstihsan' means 'regarding as good or beautiful'. "istihsân" da "güzel görmek" demek.
If deeds concerning the Hereafter are done for the sake of God, and for the future, we can quickly change from people of the day to people of the future.
If we are acting like people of eternity, preparing for a tomorrow of infinite length.
If our grand purpose of life is performing good deeds like the Prayer, the Pilgrimage, Fasting, guiding to excellence, in a way conveying the majestic name of the Prophet, if we do all these for the ultimate goal of obtaining people's appreciation, these deeds will be rendered void. Eğer yaptığımız güzellikleri, namazı, haccı, orucu, irşadı, bir yönüyle dünyaya nâm-ı celîl-i İlahî'yi, nâm-ı celîl-i Muhammedî'yi (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) duyurmayı gaye-i hayal yapmışsak... Bütün bunlarda eğer insanların takdirini "illet" yapıyorsak, o amellerimiz boşa gider.
Hoping people will praise you and say, 'Wow, they opened schools in hundred and seventy countries'... İnsanlar takdir etsinler... "Maşallahı var; dünyanın yüz yetmiş küsur ülkesinde okul açtılar" desinler...
if these kinds of thoughts cross one's mind... Bu aklının köşesinden geçiyorsa...
Whenever these thoughts approach, and knock on the door of one's neurons, one must immediately deadlock these doors and make them impossible to open.
But if that praise becomes the goal and if one wishes only appreciation, and says, 'Look, I have reached this many people' Fakat işte, eğer illet ise, insan onun için yapıyorsa, takdir edilsin istiyorsa, "Bak, bunca insana duyurdum ben bu meseleyi" filan diyorsa...
Essentially, one should forget about those good deeds. İyilikleri unutmak lazımdır esasen.
If one thing must be forgotten, it should be all the good deeds which one performed or became the means of.
Whenever one remembers, he should say, 'Good gracious! Aklına geldiği zaman da "Allah Allah.
How did God favour a troubled person like me?', this is in some way testifying to God's Blessings. One must be aware of the Source of these blessings.
Accepting the blessing but acknowledging that it is from Him... Yine onu kabul etme fakat O'ndan bilme...
If we acknowledge Him, the means won't be the ultimate cause anymore, while also refraining from associating partners with God.
Otherwise, if the ultimate goal becomes people's appreciation, applause, praise, being the centre of attention, respect and desiring phrases like 'You succeeded in this', all these good deeds will be cancelled. Öbür türlü, farkına varmadan insanların takdiri, insanların alkışı, insanların büyük görmesi, insanların parmak ile işaret etmesi, "Sen yaptın" demesi, geldiğinde ayağa kalkılması; bütün bunlar, bir yönüyle yapılan güzelliklere illet sayılıyorsa, o ameli iptal eder.
It will be as if nothing was performed. Bir şey yapmamış gibi olur.
Yes, like what? Evet, ne gibi?
A Prophetic tradition states: Hadis:
'There are many who fast and get nothing but hunger and thirst.' "Nice oruç tutanlar vardır ki, tuttukları oruçtan yanlarına kâr olarak sadece açlıkları ve susuzlukları kalmıştır."
'There are many who pray at night and get nothing but lack of sleep.' "Nice sabahlara kadar ayakta duran insanlar vardır ki, sadece yorgunlukları ve uykusuzlukları yanlarına kâr kalmıştır."
Not in that way... Öyle değil...
Therefore the good deeds will be in vain. Dolayısıyla ameli iptal eder o.
To not render these deeds void, and obtain other beauties from the same beauty, one should not aim for other's appreciation, applause, being singled out and make these the ultimate cause.
If people's appreciation and approval is the deciding factor in any other-worldly action, it will sabotage the sincerity of that action. "İnsanların takdiri/istihsânı, eğer amel-i uhrevîde "müreccih" ise, o ameldeki ihlâsı kırar."
If this is just a deciding factor for a good deed, not the ultimate cause, then it is one step closer to the 'Unity'.
You perform such actions, but do not do them for the purpose of earning people's appreciation and applause. O işi yapıyorsunuz ama o takdiri, o alkışı, o mevzuda "illet" yapmamışsınız.
You may only be thinking, 'This is not such a bad thing though, it shows people are welcoming these actions'.
Sometimes Satan approaches as follows: Bazen de şeytan şöyle dedirtir:
'When these people welcome your actions and efforts, they will stand by you, and support you'. "Bu insanlar kabul edince, onlar da sizin çizginizde yerlerini alırlar, size arka çıkarlar; onlar da size destek olurlar."
But this is merely Satan approaching from the right. Bu da şeytanın sağdan gelme ayak oyunlarındandır.
If this is the deciding factor, the factor that causes you to do something, that breaks the sincerity of the action. "Tercih ettirici bir faktör" ise, yani, başka şeyler yapacakken, onu tercih ettiriyor size... O da o ameldeki ihlâsı kırar.
Because sincerity means, essentially, to do something only because it has been commanded by God and to earn His good pleasure.
Bediüzzaman says: 'An ounce of sincere action is preferable to tonnes of deeds lacking sincerity'. "Bir zerre ihlâslı amel, batmanlar ile hâlis olmayana müreccahtır." beyanı da bu sözleri söyleyen, Hazreti Pîr-i Mugân'a ait.
Indeed, if you act with sincerity, God will open up the hearts of thousands of people in a way that you do cannot comprehend. Evet, siz ihlâslı amel ettiğiniz takdirde, Allah (celle celâluhu) hiç bilemediğiniz şekilde binlerce insanın sinesini açar.
But only if you act with sincerity, the doors that opened up to the Prophets opened up in this way as well. Ama ihlâslı amel ettiğiniz takdirde... Peygamberlere açılan kapılar da öyle açılmıştır.
Accordingly, making praise a deciding factor in doing any action ruins the sincerity of that action.
And when that sincerity is ruined, the matter becomes detached from God, may He protect us from it. İhlâs kırılınca, mesele yine Cenâb-ı Hak'tan koparılmış olur, hafizanallah.
Even in choice, there is action but no sincerity. Tercihte bile... Amel var fakat ihlâs yok.
I guess, starting from the grave, and continuing into life in the Intermediate Realm, the Great Gathering, and the judgement, this matter will be considered and accounted for.
For example: 'You did such and such but you were not too sincere in your action'. "Sen bunu yaptın ama çok ihlâslı değildin bu mevzuda."
Whereas in the Qur'an in numerous places, the importance of sincerity is emphasised. Oysaki Kur'an-ı Kerim, çend yerde, ihlası nazara veriyor.
For example, among the short chapters, 'Al-Bayyinah' is a prime example. Mesela, işte o Kısâr'dan (kısa sûrelerden) "Lemyekunillezîne" diye bilinen Beyyine Sûresi de onların başında geliyor.
The Qur'an states: Orada şöyle buyuruluyor:
'But they were not enjoined anything other than that they should worship God, sincere in faith in Him and practicing the Religion purely for His sake, as people of pure faith; and establish the Prayer in accordance with its conditions; and pay the Prescribed Purifying Alms. "Oysa onlara da ancak, Din'i bütün yanlarıyla içten kabul ederek ve sadece O'nun rızasını hedef alarak, küfür ve şirkten uzak, dupduru bir tevhîd inancı içinde Allah'a ibadet etmeleri, namazı bütün şartlarına riayet ederek vaktinde ve aksatmadan kılmaları ve zekâtı tastamam vermeleri emredilmişti.
And that is upright, ever-true Religion' (Al-Bayyinah, 98:5). Budur kusursuz, sağlam ve dosdoğru Din" (Beyyine, 98:5).
Religion and religious life belongs to God. Din, diyanet, Allah'a aittir.
'Worship, servanthood, and ultimate devotion' performed only to God. "İbadet", "Ubûdiyet" ve "Ubûdet" Allah'a yapılır.
In this matter others' appreciation and applause have no value; Başkalarının o mevzuda takdir ve alkışının kıymet-i harbiyesi yoktur;
if it is a factor, it will break the sincerity of intention. onun tercih ettirici bir faktör olması ise, o ameldeki ihlası kırar.
'If it is an incentive, it will dispel the purity'. "Eğer müşevvik ise, saffetini izâle eder."
If people's admiration and appreciation is the encouragement for the goodness and beauty that you do, İnsanların takdiri/istihsânı teşvik edici bir faktör olarak, yaptığınız iyiliklere ve güzelliklere tesir ediyorsa.
The desire to have the encouragement of others... O, bunlarda bir müşevvik ise... İnsan arzu eder; "Başkaları teşvik etsin de yapayım."
It is one of the weaknesses of humankind, one of the weakest weaknesses.
Not completely overcome. Yani, artık bütün bütün iptal değil.
At the same time, it is not only the sincerity in that act that is damaged, it damages the purity of these issues, the purity of the act is tainted, and dark lines appear on it. Aynı zamanda ihlâsın zedelenmesi, yara alması, berkenâr edilmesi de değil, fakat müşevvik olduğundan, bu, o meselenin saffetini, duruluğunu esasen götürür; bulanıklık olmaya başlar onun içinde, bazen kapkaranlık çizgiler olur orada.
And so a deed that should be appreciated by Almighty God will lose its beautiful pattern. Cenâb-ı Hakkın beğendiği, takdir buyurduğu, öyle olmasını istediği amel, desen bozukluğuna düşer.
He has instructed us to act in way that leads to a certain pattern and palette appearing. Oysaki o meseleyi ortaya koyarken, vaz' ederken, "Bu meselenin şu desende ortaya konması lazım" buyurmuştur.
It is such an issue that neither sincerity or appreciation or the purity of the act or whether it should be cancelled needs to be considered.
Yes, before everything, it must be done only for God's sake, it should not be cancelled. Evet, her şeyden evvel o, Allah için yapılmalı; iptal edilmemeli.
At the same time, admiration of others should not be expected. Aynı zamanda elin-âlemin takdiri falan da beklenmemeli.
However, at the same time people should not say, 'Let others encourage us to do good things.'
Because to desire incentives and encouragement, for the eyes or ears to desire it, would taint the purity of the matter, may God protect us from it.
Incidentally, let me make a side point here: Burada antrparantez bir şey arz edeyim:
You would pray one thousand cycles prayer in the night and you wouldn't want anyone to know about this.
In the darkness of the night... Karanlık, gece...
In fact, you might even think, 'If only this Prayer mat didn't even know. Hatta "Yahu şu seccâde bile bilmese.
It got soaked with my tears; if only it could quickly dry up and not know. Benim şu gözyaşlarımla ıslandı; bir an evvel kurusa da bilmese.
If only it didn't know the feelings inside of me. Benim iç döküşlerimi bilmese.
If only my mattress didn't know that I have left it. Döşeğim bilmese benim kendinden ayrıldığımı.
If only my blanket didn't realise. Yorganım farkına varmasa.
If I have a spouse, if only he/she didn't know I left him/her sleeping'. Varsa hayat arkadaşım, yanından ayrılıp gittiğimi bilmese" dersin.
You perform these acts with that level of purity. Meseleyi öyle sâfiyâne yapıyorsun, öyle dupduru olarak yapıyorsun.
By the will of God, you reach certain ranks, maybe you experience certain feelings. Allah'ın izni-inayetiyle, bir yerlere ulaşıyorsun, belki bir şeyler hissediyorsun.
You shouldn't even be considering the possibility of having such feelings. O türlü şeyleri hissetmenin tâlibi bile olmamalısın.
What you are aiming for is at such a high level.
An individual's value is determined by their goals. Bir insan neyi talep ediyorsa, aynı zamanda kendi kıymetini ifade eder.
The value of the goal reflects the value of the individual. Talep edilen şeyin kıymeti, insanın kıymetini aksettirir.
Some people have goals of attaining copper from a coppersmith. Kimisi bakırcılar çarşısında bakıra tâlip olur.
Some people have goals of attaining gold and silver from a goldsmith. Kimisi sarraflar çarşısında altına-gümüşe tâlip olur.
Some people dive into the oceans and look for pearls. Kimisi mercan adalarına dalar, ona tâlip olur.
I think you are aiming for something much higher. Bence sen, öyle bir şeye tâlipsin ki.
'God' you say: "Allah" diyorsun:
'Do it for God, start something for God, meet with each other for God, speak for God; act in the realm of God's good pleasure. "Allah için işleyiniz, Allah için başlayınız, Allah için görüşünüz, Allah için konuşunuz; lillâh, livechillâh, lieclillâh rızası dairesinde hareket ediniz.
Then the minutes, seconds and milliseconds of your life will be transformed into years. O zaman ömrünüzün dakikaları, saniyeleri, saliseleri, âşireleri, seneler hükmüne geçer."
Bediüzzaman would say minutes, I added seconds and milliseconds; the milliseconds of your life will be transformed into years. Hazreti Pîr birini (dakikaları) diyordu, ben diğerlerini ilave ettim; ömrünüzün âşireleri, seneler hükmüne geçer.
Even here nothing other than the good pleasure of God should be expected.
One shouldn't say, 'Let my intuition develop'. Hani, "Firâsetim inkişaf etsin benim" dememeli.
If He makes it happen, it will happen... Ettirirse ettirir...
To think, 'Let me read everything correctly, with these works that I've done.' "Böyle her şeyi doğru okuyayım, bu yaptığım şeyler ile."
Look, these thoughts may come to you. Bakın içinize bunlar gelebilir.
Different stations, ranks, even the sublime ranks in the sight of God... Değişik makamlar, pâyeler, hatta nezd-i Ulûhiyetteki pâyeler...
'Let me feel Him in my dreams in the mirror of my spirit.' "Her gece rüyamda -bir yönüyle- kendi mir'ât-ı ruhumda O'nu temâşa edeyim."
If they appear by themselves, in my opinion we must be thankful for it; this is a manifestation of God's Blessings. Bunlar kendi kendine geliyorsa şayet, bence öpüp başa koymak lazım; tahdîs-i nimettir bu.
We should think, 'Good gracious. "Allah Allah.
How could it be that a poor person like me has been granted such great things worthy of sultans?' Nasıl oldu da bencileyin fakire, böyle sultanlara armağan edilen şeyler armağan edildi, lütfedildi" falan...
We should consider it like this. Onu da o çerçevede ele almak lazım;
Yes, we should not change its purity. evet, onu da karartmamak lazım.
Even, I know or heard some people that...
For example everyone would love to see the Prophet; Mesela herkes Efendimiz'i (sallallâhu aleyhi ve sellem) görmeyi ister;
I sacrifice everything just to see him for a moment. ben de O'nu bir dakika görmeye, belki dünyaları fedâ ederim.
But there are also some people that in order to avoid the test of pride that comes with the thought of 'I've seen Him!' in all good things that they might do, would even be wary of such a beautiful thing. Fakat öyle kimseler vardır ki, hafizanallah, "O'nu gördüm" mülahazası, yaptığı şeylerde aklına geliyorsa, ona da razı olmaz.
'O my Lord! "Yâ Rabbi.
Let me be sacrificed over and over again for Him, let my heart burn with love for Him Ben, O'nun için ölüp ölüp dirileyim, kalbim O'nun ateşi ile yansın.
Let me say like Lady Leyla: Leyla Hanım gibi diyeyim:
'If I burn, let it be with the fire of your love O Messenger. 'Yanarsam, nâr-ı aşkınla yanayım yâ Rasûlallah.
I am a servant at your door from pre-eternity O Messenger.' Ezelden kapında bağrı yanık bir gedâyım yâ Rasûlallah.'
In fact she also says, 'Give me what you are to give me in the next life.' Fakat, bana vereceğini öbür tarafta ver" der.
There have been many sayings that end with 'O Messenger.' "Yâ Rasûlallah" redifli nice naatlar söylenmiştir.
'O Messenger. "Yâ Rasûlallah.
O Messenger.' Yâ Rasûlallah."
If you have strived in this path, you might have seen these. Meşgul olmuşsanız, görmüşsünüzdür bunları.
Your heart would desire this. Gönlünüz öyle olmasını arzu eder.
But one may also think, 'What if I misinterpret my seeing of him and think that I am something special because of this?
My God! Allah'ım.
Don't give me that! Onu da bana verme.
Give me what you are to give me in the next life. Bana vereceğin şeyi öbür tarafta ver.
Let me put my head underneath his noble feet in the Hereafter.' Öbür tarafta ben, başımı O'nun ayaklarının altına koyayım."
That is all... O kadar...
But say that it emerged spontaneously... Ama kendi kendine geldi...
and you begin to struggle with such thoughts. The best thing to do is to turn to your spiritual intellect and say, 'Just as You have blessed some undeserving people at times when they were amongst Your noble, sincere servants - You must have done the same for me, not leaving me out.'
Even if one was to fly in the air, or walk on water, or read the hearts of people as they walk by, or speak two words and have people around them grasp faith... Havada uçsa, suda batmadan gitse, insanların çehresinde kalblerinden geçenleri okusa, iki tane kelime ile bir insanı hemen hakikatin göbeğine otağ kurmaya çağırabilse...
No matter whichever of these a person might reach, one must not find anything within them self to think they are deserving of such things. Bütün bunlarda yine kendine bir şey çıkararak meseleye bakmamak lazımdır.
There is also this, those things that have come about by themselves should not be denied; for they are from God, they are favours.
When this is the case, 'It is good to receive the good vibes from people for the verse which states, 'And grant me a most true and virtuous renown among posterity' (Ash-Shuara 26:84) points to this matter.
Prophet Abraham makes this supplication. Hazreti İbrahim diyor bunu:
'And grant me a most true and virtuous renown among posterity.' "Beni, arkadan gelen insanlar nezdinde yâd-ı cemîl kıl."
That Prophet is mentioning this as an example. Örnek olarak söylüyor o peygamber.
How clean and pure is his heart. Kalbi ne kadar duru, ne kadar temiz.
It is not a statement of expectation, rather a desire to be remembered positively.
This desire of his was accepted, for when we remember our Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, in our salutations to him, we also remember Prophet Abraham.
'O Allah! Send Your blessings upon our master Muhammad and the family of our master Muhammad as You sent blessings upon our master Abraham and the family of our master Abraham among the nations. Truly You are the Owner of Praise, the Glorious.'
We don't have the additions that other schools have here. Bizde yok bazı ilaveler; bazı kelimeleri diğer mezhepler ilave ediyorlar.
Probably because they are things not applied by the Hanafis. Herhalde Âhâdî şeyler olduğundan dolayı Hanefîlerde yok;
The Hanafis are sensitive in determining whether to use certain singular words in prayer or not. Hanefîlerin Garîb, Âhâdî şeyleri namazda söyleyip söylememe konusuna karşı biraz hassasiyetleri var.
Yes, Prophet Abraham prayed as follows; 'And grant me a most true and virtuous renown among posterity'; and was always remembered in good nature by the generations that followed him.
Another example; here is such an example of complete and utter submission to God.
For this reason, one must always take a lesson from him. İşte her zaman O'ndan ders almalı.
In the process of being catapulted in to the huge blazing fire, before he falls in to the fire, Angel Gabriel reaches out to him: Mancınığa konup ateşe atılırken, daha ateşin içine düşmeden, Cebrâil yetişiyor orada:
'God Almighty sends His salutations upon you, do you want us to do anything to rectify the situation?' the angel says. "Cenâb-ı Hakk'ın selamı var, senin için bir şey yapalım mı?" diyor.
Abraham replies saying, 'If God Almighty knows of my situation, I do not want anything else from anyone.' "O, haberdar ise, benim kimseden beklediğim bir şey yok" cevabını veriyor.
We should try and live our lives based on this example. İşte bu örneğe binaen esasen, hayat böyle götürülmeli.
'God is sufficient for me, "Allah bana yeter.
There is no deity but He. O'ndan başka ilah yoktur.
Only on Him I have relied, Ben yalnız O'na dayanırım.
He is the Lord of the Great Throne' (At-Tawbah, 9:129). Çünkü O, büyük Arş'ın, muazzam hükümranlığın sahibidir" (Tevbe, 9:129).
'God is sufficient for us, "Allah bize yeter.
how excellent a Guardian He is!' (Al Imran, 3:173). O, ne güzel vekildir" (Âl-i Imrân, 3:173).
'How excellent a Guardian and an Owner He is; how excellent a Helper!' (Al-Anfal, 8:40). "O ne güzel Mevlâ, ne güzel Yardımcı'dır" (Enfâl, 8:40).
'We seek Your forgiveness O Lord! Our return is to You.' (Al-Baqara, 2:285). "Affını dileriz ya Rabbenâ, dönüşümüz Sanadır" (Bakara, 2:285).
'O Our Lord! It is in You that we have put our trust, and it is to You that we turn in utmost sincerity and devotion. "Ey Yüce Rabbimiz, biz yalnız Sana güvenip Sana dayandık.
and to You is the homecoming' (Al-Mumtahina, 60:4). Bütün ruh u cânımızla Sana yöneldik ve sonunda Senin huzuruna varacağız" (Mümtehine, 60:4) denmeli.
No matter how many honourable revelations there are regarding this subject, it should always be linked back to that point.
Essentially Prophet Abraham gives us this lesson.
Thus, I believe that this is one of the points that the supplication, 'And grant me a most true and virtuous renown among posterity', conveys.
And from this perspective, we must assign an acceptable base for this.
'Grant me a most true and virtuous renown among future generations' "Bana sonrakiler içinde bir lisân-ı sıdk (ve bir yâd-ı cemîl) lütfeyle.
And make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of bounty and blessing' (Ash-Shu'ara, 26:84). Ve beni içinde nimetlerin kaynadığı Cennet'in mirasçılarından kıl" (Şuarâ, 26:84-85).
'O God, help us always live with the remembrance of You, away from blindness, let us always be full of gratitude in the face of Your countless blessings, and let us always be of Your rightly guided servants and allow us to worship You in the best way possible. "Allah'ım, hep zikrinle yaşayıp gafletten uzak kalarak Seni sürekli yâd etme, nimetlerin karşısında Sana karşı şükür hisleriyle dopdolu olma ve hakkıyla kullukta bulunup ibadetleri en güzel şekilde yerine getirme hususlarında bize yardım et.
O God, we ask from You guidance, piety, chastity, and a generous heart. Allah'ım, Sen'den hidayet, takva, iffet ve (gönül) zenginliği dileriz.
O God, keep us far away from Hellfire, save us, protect us. Allah'ım bizi Cehennem ateşinden uzak tut, halas eyle, koru.
Grant us salvation and contentment. Bize af ve afiyet lütfeyle.
Make us together in Paradise with those whom you have identified as the righteous. Ebrâr diye bilinen iyi ve hayırlı kullarınla beraber bizi de Cennet'ine dâhil eyle.
Rescue and protect us through Your forgiveness, O Giver of Refuge! Affınla imdat ve himaye buyur ey Mucîr Allah'ım,
Forgive us with your grace, O All-Forgiving! fazlınla bağışla ey Gaffâr Rabbim.
Send blessings and peace upon the noble Messenger of God and his family in respect of Your honourable and blessed Names.
We add to this supplication which we know is favourable: Bu makbul olduğuna inandığımız duaya şu talebimizi de ekliyoruz:
Protect us from the evils of our carnal soul, Satan, jinn and humankind, heretical innovation, deviation, heresy and from falling into rebellion. Bizi nefis ve şeytanın şerrinden, cin ve insin şerrinden, bidat, dalalet, ilhad ve tuğyana düşmekten muhafaza buyur.
Protect us; keep us away from the conspiracy, traps, betrayal, dissension, hatred and envy of people who are hostile to us and from every walks of life, such as soldiers, police officers, intelligence officers, lawyers, administrators, and public servants. Asker, polis, istihbaratçı, hukukçu ve idareci devlet memuru gibi hayatın her biriminden olup bize karşı düşmanca davranan kimselerin komplolarından, tuzaklarından, hıyanetlerinden, fitnelerinden, kinlerinden ve hasetlerinden bizi koru, uzak tut, muhafaza buyur.
Make those evildoers who are devoted to hatred grieve with disappointment, leave them frustrated and empty handed, miserable, make their attacks futile, leave them expelled, wounded and bruised and defeated. Düşmanlığa kilitlenmiş o şerirleri hayal kırıklığıyla kederli, eli boş kalıp hüsrana düşmüş, fiyasko yaşamış, perişan, hücumları akim kalıp püskürtülmüş, kovulup uzaklaştırılmış, kahra uğrayıp yara bere içinde kalmış, bozguna uğramış, yıkılıp batmış ve hezimet yaşayıp sönüp gitmiş hale koy.
The All-Merciful, The All-Compassionate, The One of Majesty and Grace!
For the sake of You, for Your grandeur, for Your greatness, for Your Divinity, and for Your Lordship... Zat'ın, azametin, ululuğun, Ulûhiyetin, Rubûbiyetin hakkı için.
