How does the Gülen Movement establish continuity between the individual and collectivity?

The service-networks and the individuals who participate in the networks see their own limitations through face-to-face discussions, through availability of information and communication channels, through skilled leadership in SMOs, through the feedback from media and public, and through consultation. This makes them reflexive. By generalizing and accumulating the results of their actions, the service-networks and SMOs relate to society and express people’s wishes and concerns through peaceful and formal mechanisms. In this way they contribute to finding institutional solutions to individual and collective needs, expectations and interests. In short, the Gülen Movement is an institutional intermediary between the individual and the collectivity or society.

This yields continuity between individual and collective identity, leisure and commitment, self-fulfillment and participation, particular and global.
