Fethullah Gülen's Message for the Sake of Stability
His Excellency President Dmitry Medvedev,
Distinguished Members of the Russia Mufties Council,
Honorable Guests,
Ladies and Gentlemen.
It is a distinct honor and great pleasure for me to join you in cherishing the noble values of dialogue and mutual respect for one another as I believe they are put forth by this international conference titled "Russia and the Muslim World: Partnership for the Sake of Stability".
Although I am unable to personally attend this wonderful conference, I would like to extend to all the participants my greetings and best wishes for a successful conference. I would like to also avail of this opportunity to congratulate, and express my deepest gratitude to the distinguished members of the Russia Mufties Council for bringing together the prominent political, intellectual and public figures from across the world in order to foster a fresh thinking in finding ways to a global peace and prosperity through international cooperation.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I deem this conference extremely important and timely as it tackles such an important issue as the necessity of international cooperation in the fields of science, culture, economics and education.
Today, more than ever, the humanity is in need of an overarching cooperation among the nations, among different ethno-religious groups, and among the civil society organizations in order to jointly address the common problems and deprivations of peoples around the world.
I find it also meaningful that such a noble endeavor is taking place in the Russian Federation which enjoys a rich historical and cultural heritage, and hosts a variety of different cultures and religions. It is yet another indication of the Russian Federation's respect for different cultures and of its genuine dedication to creating such platforms where the new and fresh ideas are brought to the light. For that, I do congratulate His Excellency the President Dmitry Medvedev and the other esteemed state officials.
As I conclude my remarks, once again I thank you all for your ceaseless efforts lo promote a productive international cooperation in fields that most matter for the well-being of humanity, and for your sincere contributions to making our world a better place.
