Afghani Girls to Attend Turkish Schools
Girls in Afghanistan, who for years were unable to receive a proper education, will be able to attend Turkish schools.
The Afghan-Turkish schools in the country are now preparing to include an Afghan-Turkish Girls School service.
The number of Turkish high schools in Afghanistan will, therefore, increase to five. Minister of Education Nour Mohammed Karkin said they give great importance to the opening of a girls' high school, adding that the Ministry launched its works following a request from Afghan-Turkish schools officials. Turkish teachers will educate Afghan girls and that makes them happy, the Minister told, and empty plot has been found for the construction of the school and there is nothing preventing to the start of construction works.
Meanwhile, a nationwide National Mathematics Contest received a great deal of interest. Winners of the contest in which 41 schools participated were presented with gifts.
