Case Against Fethullah Gülen
Fethullah Gülen's case in Ankara State Security Court (DGM) continues. Gülen was sued on claims of setting up an illegal organization aiming to change the secular order of Turkey and instead form a state based on religious rules. The Prosecutor's office demands that Gülen should be sent to prison for 5-10 years. Gülen's lawyers attended the hearing today concerning this case. After Nuh Mete Yuksel was appointed to Ankara Prosecutor's Office, DGM Prosecutor Hamza Keles was appointed to this case and demanded more time to study the file. The Court Chief Huseyin Eken reported that they have decided to give more time to Keles and postponed the hearing. 11.26.2002
