Niagara Foundation Opens New Chicago Office

The Niagara Foundation which is known for its interfaith dialog works has opened a new office. Prominent figures in Chicago attended the inauguration of the Foundation whose honorary president is Fethullah Gülen.

At the Gala, during which the new logo was launched, many academics, bureaucrats, intellectuals, and representatives of religions attended the event.

Vice consular of Turkiye to Chicago Azize Sarg initiated the inauguration ceremony by cutting the cord.

Illinois House Representative Susana Mendoza, Chicago Police Chief Jody Weis, FBI Chicago Director Robert Grant, who became popular when he took Governor Blagojevic into custody, were among the attendants at the event.

At the inaugural speech Grant said the Niagara Foundation had a role of social solidarity through its activities which he himself has attended from time to time.

The President of the Foundation Serif Soydan said the institution had been active for 5 years with inter cultural and faith activities. Soydan added the foundation had contributed to the already existing bridge of interfaith and culture dialogs.
