Gülen saddened by heart-wrenching PKK killings
Turkish renowned Islamic scholar Fethullah Gülen has said he is saddened by the death of 24 Turkish soldiers in attacks by the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in Hakkari on Wednesday.
Gülen said despite similar previous incidents and all the intelligence on hand the attacks were still not prevented as a result of a lack of necessary sensitivity and precautionary measures, adding that these attacks are a dark scenario played out over these territories.
Gülen expressed his condolences for the slain troops and said he hopes people can address these problems.
