Turkish Businessmen Open Girls High School in Kabul
Turkish entrepreneurs opened Afghanistan's first all girl high school in Kabul. An old school building was repaired by Turkish entrepreneurs and reconstructed as an all girl high school.
Afghanistan Education Minister Nur Mohammad Karkin said: "The Turkish teachers, who came from Turkey to Afghanistan and sacrificed themselves for educating Afghani children, have realized a great mission here." Karkin said the female student's, who did not have a chance to go to school for long years in Afghanistan, are fortunate to have such a school and added they were looking forward to opening the girls high school under construction. When the construction of the high school is completed it will be the most modern school in Afghanistan. Supported by the Afghanistan Government, the high school will be a pilot school for women education in Afghanistan.
