Fifth Turkish School Opens in Indonesia
A new Turkish school has joined the four Turkish schools active in Indonesia. Charisma Bangsa School, which opened with a ceremony yesterday in the capital Jakarta, is one of the country's distinguished schools for its modern classroom facilities and laboratories.
Indonesian Acting Minister of Education Professor Suyanto, Djusni Djohan, one of the founders of the school, Indonesian members of parliament, governors, and educator Mehmet Ali Sengul, Inci Ozdemir on behalf of the Society for Social and Economic Solidarity with Pacific Countries (PASIAD) and five Turkish members of parliament and Ache Governor Mawardi attended the opening ceremony.
The world needs education to escape ignorance, Djohan said, the students to be educated in Kharisma Bangsa School will be educated to a high standard to be able to perform crucial services around the globe.
The school will enroll students from nursery level through to the high school, he added: "We established the entire technical substructure according to the latest technology and transferred qualified teachers from Turkey and Indonesia to our school. We aim to nurture very qualified individuals, not only in terms of education but also culture."
Educator, Mehmet Ali Sengul, mentioned that the school was established as a result of both countries' efforts and will realize the expectations of the golden generation.
"Kharisma Bangsa School will plant the seeds of love in the Far East," Sengul said, "and Indonesia in particular. The young educated in the school will also improve the relationship between Turkey and Indonesia."
