Gülen Terms Terrorist Attacks Strike Against Human Dignity
Esteemed spiritual leader M. Fethullah Gülen condemns the recent terrorist attacks in London and Egypt in the following statement.
"Incidents of terror in various parts of the world are the biggest strike against the human dignity. The right to live is regarded as sacred and killing a person is equal to infidelity in Islam. I would like to repeat once again that terrorism leads to nowhere.
A genuine Muslim can never be a terrorist and a terrorist can never be a Muslim. Dozens died in a horrendous attack in Egypt, where Muslims make up the majority, even before the terror wave created against innocent people in London had abated. I denounce terror and I have always condemned it wherever it comes from. I pray for Allah's mercy on those who died in the attacks and express my condolences to their grieved families and the entire Islamic world."
