Turkish Schools Hold Science Fair in London
Turkish schools in the UK will meet for the 3rd Axis Science Fair co-organized by the Axis Education Foundation and the Light House Education Foundation, which starts on May 21 in London.
The 3rd Axis Science Fair to be opened with a splendid ceremony at the Imperial College, London, is expected to attract a large audience.
Students and teachers completed preparations for the fair, which they have been involved in since the beginning of the year.
Important names are also expected to take part in the fair.
Some 50 projects co-prepared by students aged 8-16 studying at Turkish schools and their teachers will on display at the fair over the weekend.
In addition to these projects, experiments in astronomy, chemistry, physics, biology, mathematics and brain teasers are also expected to draw visitors’ attention.
Axis Educational Foundation Advisor Bekir Cinar said that the Science Fair they co-organized with the Light House Education Foundation aims at highlighting the importance of the sciences, and added they want to make people more aware and appreciative of science through their activities.
